The upgraded central locking system on this VEVOR full electric medical bed is what makes it so unique. It lets you lock or open all four wheels with a single pedal action. When you press the red button, it locks all four wheels at once, so you do not have to bend down and engage each one separately. When you press the green button, all four come loose at once, letting you move the bed right away. 

By not having to crouch at each corner of the bed, caregivers work less hard and are less likely to miss or partially engage the brakes, which could cause the bed to move during care chores. Once locked, the bed remains securely positioned during adjustment cycles and routine patient care. 

5-Function Adjustment Covering Backrest, Legrest, Height and Trendelenburg 

This full electric medical bed provides five independently motorized adjustment zones: backrest (0–75°), leg rest (0–45°), full bed height, Trendelenburg, and reverse Trendelenburg. The 75° backrest angle helps you sit up for meals, treatment, and medical exams, and the 45° legrest elevation helps blood flow and lowers swelling in your legs after a long time in bed.

The Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg tilts make the bed more useful for therapy than a normal 3-function bed. The handheld controller lets caregivers operate all five functions with one hand without moving around the bed. The motor actuator moves all zones smoothly and quietly, so there are no rapid changes that could scare or bother a patient who is resting during normal position changes.

470–760 mm Motorized Height Range for Efficient Caregiver Workflow 

There is a 290-mm motorized range in bed height, from 470 mm at the lowest setting to 760 mm at the highest. Each end of the range meets different care needs. At 470 mm, the lower bed height may help reduce the risk of falls when patients enter or leave the bed. At 760 mm, the bed is high enough that the helper does not have to bend over to perform tasks such as dressing wounds, examining the patient, or moving them by hand.

After adjusting the bed height, caregivers can secure all four casters with a single pedal instead of locking each wheel individually. This makes changing the height between jobs much faster and easier to do during a care shift. 

Carbon Steel Frame with 250 kg Capacity for Reliable Daily Use 

Our engineers chose carbon steel for the bed frame because it can withstand long-term loads in many adjustment directions. The 250 kg (550 lb) weight limit means that most adult patients can use it without needing a separate bariatric option. During repeated motorized adjustments, carbon steel does not change shape.

The net weight of 109 kg indicates the frame's density, which is appropriate for the load it is meant to support and the five-function mechanical system it carries. Independently raising and lowering guardrails, with a height of 270 mm from the mattress to the top of the guardrail, protects against falls while still allowing easy access to the rail for assisted care jobs.

30D High-Density Foam Mattress with 270 mm Guardrail Clearance 

The mattress that comes with this bed measures 1950 × 900 × 100 mm and is made of 30D high-density foam, with a density designed for medical use rather than for normal sleep comfort. The foam spreads the body's weight evenly across the contact area, lowering peak pressure at the sacrum, heels, and shoulder blades and reducing the risk of pressure ulcers during prolonged immobility. The 900 mm width provides most adult patients with enough side room and allows caregivers to work next to the patient without reaching across a narrow surface.

This model's guardrail-to-mattress clearance is 270 mm, which is higher than the 230 mm clearance on other beds in the same price range. Because the foam is dense, it maintains its supportive shape over time rather than collapsing under constant body weight.

If you move the bed a lot from one room or job to another, the central locking mechanism is a big improvement over independent wheel brakes.
