Very quiet pump, well put together but the connections spots are a bit difficult if you don’t have that much wire length, A+ on the 220V set up from the factory.

I have received this pump ok, now i need to retrun it . I needed the complete assemby pump and basket so i orderd a Pump and Basket that is due here today. I would like to return the original pump only to you if you can give me information how to do so. Its been about 4 days since i first contacted you and all i get is that its been pass on to someone else to review or how is your service. Can you please give me information on returning this item.

The motor fitted perfectly to my Pentair Challenger CHII pump and works fine so far. It appears to be very well made and arrived very well packaged. However it’s only a 4-star at this point for 3 reasons: 1. It arrived late. I could see that it arrived in my neighborhood at 11:30am on the day it was due, but it didn’t make it to my place until a full 28 hours later. We had no clear indication when it would arrive. 2. It’s rated to ambient temperatures of 40degC (~104degF) only… This is not a smart rating for a pool pump. It’s running in a small shed outside in the Texas heat in summer and I can only imagine it’s pretty typical for a POOL PUMP motor! 3. It’s an inch or two longer than the original motor, which was no problem for me, but might be for other people

Price is right! Build quality looks good! Fits my Pentair whisperflow pool pump. Would be nice if electrical cover in the back was half size like the Pentair motor, so it’s easier to remove the cap when installed. Also, motor is a tad louder with a more whiney sound when compared to the whisperflow. Overall, definitely with the money if it lasts a few years. We will see.

Hope the bearings will last. Slightly louder than the original pentair. Also the measurements are slightly different it fits the pentair pump housibg

The price of the pumps, I bought two, was great, about half of an AO Smith, Hayward or Pentair and the wiring connection is up high on the unit which makes it easy to wire up. The motors bolted perfectly to my rebuilt Pentair impeller housings The only downside is the noise from the pumps, its loud. If you're going to replace a worn out motor with one of these make sure its enclosed or a fair distance from your house or neighbors.

This motor has been fantastic and has seriously done so much better than I expected. Unfortunately the shaft is machined with the slightest of tapers due to deflection of the workpiece when it was turned in the lathe. I use this motor for a centrifuge and the collar that is made to be fitted to the shaft does not sit perfectly straight due to the taper. I make it work and I cannot complain for the price, I just wish it was perfect so it worked better for my use case
