I bought it because it was advertised as 8 kW, but in reality it delivers only about 3.5 kW. This was confirmed by Vevor themselves, who admitted the 8 kW claim is mainly a marketing label. Unfortunately, 3.5 kW is not sufficient to heat the space I intended. Here is their response Dear customer, Thank you for being so patient. Kindly note at 0.36 L/h fuel consumption and ~9.8 kWh/L, the heater can only receive about 3.5 kW of chemical energy. With realistic efficiency (80–90%), the actual heat output is ~2.8–3.2 kW, not 8 kW. The advertised “8 kW” for this type of diesel air heater is not a measured thermal output. It is a nominal/marketing rating or size class, often referring to a theoretical maximum or product category rather than real delivered heat. In practice, many low-cost “8 kW” diesel heaters deliver around 3–4 kW of usable heat, which aligns with your energy-balance calculation. I am a repeat customer who has bought several products from Vevor in the past, but this is the last time they will ever get a cent of my money. I bought their diesel heater and it was a total lemon right out of the box. The worst part isn't even the broken heater—it’s the fact that they flat-out refuse to stand behind their product. I didn't just rely on the standard warranty; I actually paid extra for a THREE-YEAR extended warranty. Even with that extra protection, they are giving me the runaround and haven't resolved a single thing. To the people saying "it’s only $100, just suck it up"—that is exactly what Vevor wants you to do. $100 is still hard-earned money, and a company shouldn't be allowed to ship trash and ignore their own legal "warranty" promises. I had plans to buy more equipment from them for my shop, but those plans are dead. Current status: My issue is STILL UNRESOLVED. They have my money, they have the extra money I paid for the protection plan, and all I have is a cold garage and a heater that doesn't work. Pros: None. Cons: Defective product, zero customer service, fake warranty, and they don't value loyal customers

Baught this because I want shorter stand alone to put on my sxs for heat. Heater smokes bad. Even after letting everything burn off for 3 hours. Was blowing diesel fumes in the heater duct also. The controller also sucks. I ended up taking my other cheap diesel heater from Amazon apart and installing heater wiring fuel pump and controller on the vevor frame and works flawlessly.

Personalmente molto rumoroso in generale, dalla ventola al rumore dell'aria che passa nel tubo di scarico anche al minimo della potenza. I comandi per il funzionamento non sono molto intuitivi ed indicano dei valori approssimativi: se avessi saputo prima che erano così avrei acquistato altro a quel prezzo. Unica cosa che lo avvantaggia è la facilità di reperimento del combustibile di altro direi nulla. Roba cinese di 4 classe.

Az esetek többségébenindításkor elégtelen áramerősségre utaló hibát ír ki ami abszurd. Ha beindul, akkor nagyon szépen működik, viszont a hőfok szabályozója nem ér semmit. A hozzá adott üzemanyagszivattyú nagyon hangos.

The heater is of good quality and very reasonably priced. It works very well and runs very clean. It's downfall, that I wasn't aware of is it's high current draw from the 12 volt supply. It rquires a 20 amp supply which will drain a 12 volt battery quite quickly. I thought it might be used to heat my enclosure on my boat for early season fishing or my ice shack, but it's high current demand would kill my boat battery or portable battery for the ice shack quite quickly. Can't use it as planned.

My silvel diesel heater looks the same as the vevor. They are both 8k heaters and the silvel will blow the doors off the vevor. Not to impressed with the out put of the vevor.

Wir wollten es mal wieder testen. Nachdem unsere Heizung (anderer Hersteller) leider den Geist aufgegeben hat, haben wir es mit dieser Heizung versucht. Der Einbau war schnell erledigt. Man merkt aber schon, dass die Qualität nicht besonders ist. Das Gehäuse ist "weich" und wirkt nicht sehr stabil. Nach dem Einbau lief sie kurz an und ging dann aus und startete nicht mehr. Auch alle Hilfe vom "Kundenservice" hat nichts gebracht. Um es kurz zu machen; eine teure Standheizung gekauft (550 €), die Heizung von VEVOR ist im Müll gelandet, da mir die Retourenabwicklung zu umständlich war/ist.

Ik vond hem niet zo duur. Maar het ook niets. De kachel zou 7 kw moeten kunnen doen. Een elektrische kachel van 2.2 kw geeft meer en sneller warmte. Een miskoop dus.
