Cheap rechargable Batteries
I recently purchased a Weather Station from Vevor and wanted to share my experience with the product. The weather station's sensor is equipped with a small solar panel and comes with inexpensive rechargeable batteries, which appear to be of lower quality.
We bought the weather station on July 24 and installed it according to the manual. The weather station is installed in Greece, where we have an average of around 2,700–3,000 hours of sunshine per year. I mention this in relation to the rechargeable batteries and the small solar system included with the weather station.
We installed the rechargeable batteries that came with the product, but they seem to be low-quality. About a week ago, these batteries died and are no longer recharging. Since we positioned the weather station on a long mast, it is extremely inconvenient to bring the 7-in-1 sensor down to replace the batteries.
One major issue I encountered was during the installation process. Mounting the sensor on a 5-meter mast was quite challenging. The height and the complexity of the setup made the task more difficult than I had anticipated.
While the idea of a solar-powered sensor is appealing, the quality of the rechargeable batteries raises concerns about their durability and long-term performance. Considering the effort required to install the sensor at such a height, I highly recommend purchasing high-quality branded rechargeable batteries to avoid frequent replacements. This will save you the trouble of taking down the sensor every 2 to 3 months.
Overall, while the weather station has its advantages, the challenging setup process and the questionable battery quality diminish the overall experience.

Was great for 1 yr & 1 wk
I enjoyed the weather station while it worked. About 11 months into it, the screen data froze and no longer was receiving info from the outside station. Had to bring it down, remove the batteries and then it was up and running again. After 1 year and a week from the purchase date, the rain gauge quit working. Brought it down again, inspected the rain gauge stuff, and I see no reason it would not be working. Real bummer, I enjoyed it while it lasted.
I will have to be more careful in the future when choosing things to buy from Vevor.

Pairing distance is exaggerated
Only had it for two weeks. First week was misery.. set up rain station 60 feet away from base . It consistently lost contact with the base . Item states that it has arranged a 300 feet . Moved rain station to 30 feet away, Did a total reset and now seems working fine. Everything seems well-made just I didn’t want to have to put it where I did. Customer support was lacking and basically unreturnable .
