I've used this dehumidifier off and on for over 10 months. I run it in my garage in Florida for paint projects/fiberglass work/etc to control the atmosphere better for a more predictable/constant result. My garage is only a 2 stall, but it sits at 80% humidity in the summer and just for fun I let this thing eat and we were down to below 25% when I stopped it. Love the self empty feature and also the fact you can run a gravity drain. I moved it to my sun room about 20 minutes ago to see what it will do here, probably just make me water plants more. Recommend.

Bought this along with a condensate pump to dry out a 1400 square foot crawl - no standing water, just that musty damp thing going on. We live in NW Washington, so there's a ton of moisture in the air. This thing is a beast! Once I got it wrestled under the house (thank God for the 4' of headroom), the setup was pretty straight forward. The condensate pump was pumping water within a couple of hours, and within a couple of days the crawl was showing a steady 45-50% humidity at 60°+. Used the provided extension cable to mount the control display in the garage for easy reference. Now it only cycles on/off as needed, and not only is the crawl light years better than it was, I'm pretty sure I can tell a difference inside the house as well. Maybe that's just wishful thinking, but they do say that up to 50% of the air in your house comes from under it, so maybe I'm not imagining it. Whatever the case, if you want to dry out a basement or crawlspace, don't hesitate on this one - it will get the job done.

This humidifier does everything that it was designed to do, the only thing that is off is the humidity sensor. I have three individual humidity sensors in my crawlspace and they all show 32% humidity, but the Vevor dehumidifier says 40%

Iv installed many types of dehumidifiers. This vevor dehumidifier is at the top. It's not loud looks and feels solid. Has good features easy controls. Comes with brackets to hand or feet to stand on the floor.

Time will tell, my last one only lasted one season. Had a refrigerant leak.Was past warranty so I had to eat it

I bought one 2 years ago, only lasted a year, and Vevor sent a replacement, which also only lasted a year before leaked out all the R32 again. This one is a differently built, so hopefully they have resulted the manufacturing defects and leaks! either way I bought the 3 year replacement plan just in case. When they work, they work really well!

Much quieter and more effective than the old stand-up consumer unit I used to have, pulls a ton more water out of the air, and is about the same price

I have an encapsulated crawl space (this is the modern way that has scientific tests to validate it). The old way was to vent and I enclosed mine some years ago. I used two household dehumidifiers and they worked to a degree but were problamatic. I order this unit (big one) for over 2000 sq ft of crawl space. My house has three main sections that are under one crawl space. The before photo in an area covered with duct work (so the air flow is not as good as other spots) was high. After 24 hours in was down to 58% and probably will drop over the next day or two. The outside temp and humidty photos are with the sensor in the crawl space near a hard to reach area with restricted air flow due to HVAC ducts. The unit is well built and the only problem is the air filter did not cover all the holes so I added some double stick tape to cover a row of holes and also hold the filter in place. A positive is the mount legs have a round part so the leg can be slanted if needed. I will update this review once I have had this running for at least three months.
