Nice door, easy to install. I mistakenly purchased the battery only. The batteries last about 2 weeks in the cooler weather we are having now, so I just purchased a battery and AC to replace the first door. The timing features are lovely. It is nice to know a door will close before the early evening predators are lurking. I would not trust this as a main barrier against raccoons or similar/larger. The door is very easy to pry open with a fingertip, and is thin enough to bend off the rails if pushed hard enough. I use it in a more secure co-op to run area as the secondary opening to allow the ladies in/out of the coop into a more spacious run until I open the run to a larger daytime area. All in all, it has solved the basic problem I had with closing the run in the evening if I can’t be on time perfectly to protect against entry of opossums. It’s nice that they can get into a protected run at daybreak before I get out to them. They’re happy, so I’m happy.

Originally purchased the battery only model but needed to replace with this solar powered unit. The battery operated door uses a lot of batteries and with no low battery indicator you don’t know when it will stop working. Defeats the purpose.

MfG Carlo

The door is excellent. There are no additional components, and batteries go directly into the door's control panel. It is easy to install and very simple to set up. It only takes few minutes to install and get it running. I recommend it.

We are pleased to have an automatic door for a reasonable price, easy to install. We set the clock, opening and closing time, and it works. And you can override manually. Vevor service was very good, responsive to questions. It's important to know so you can order wirh peace of mind.
