Works as it should!! Nice

Works great, use it in my garage and plumbed the exhaust outside. My garage is not air tight so I leave the air intake inside. Had for a few years now and the o lay.issue is before winter I have to take it apart, remove the fuel pump and spray some carb cleaner in both ends and let it sit. If not it will blow white smoke and smoke out the neighborhood.

I ordered one of the self contained diesel heaters and when I got it installed and working it appears to throw lots of heat. However, the instructions are terrible! Manual “oil” pumping isn’t a thing on my model(I found out after about 20 minutes of trying various options highlighted in the manual. And options for electrical power also isn’t super clear as I want to run it off my inverter in my enclosed trailer. Will try adding a plug adaptor to the wires to see if that does the trick. Right now runnngnitnoff my snowmobile battery as my solar system uses 2 6V batteries and this unit requires 12V. Also, haven’t figured out how to hook up via Bluetooth as the instructions do not work for that either. Unit itself seems good, operating instructions make it so I can’t give 5 stars

The quality is very good. I installed a 12v to 120v converter for my use and everything is perfect. Will buy Again

El equipo está bien, funciona y la calidad se ajusta al precio, pero tiene algunas características que no me gustan por lo que no volvería a comprar otro. Cabe decir que la caravana tenía un sistema parecido pero a gas propano, que desmonté porque era ya muy viejo y no inspiraba confianza y que uno nuevo cuesta 600€. Es decir, por 100€ pues tienes lo que tienes. Dicho esto, paso a explicar las cosas que a mí en particular no me gustan. 1.- El ruido de la combustión. A pesar de que he instalado el calentador fuera de la caravana, el nivel sonoro de la combustión es elevado y estropea el silencio del entorno en el que estoy. Para explicarlo es como el ruido de un soplete. 2.- El insufrible pom - pum - pom - pum de la bomba de gas oil. Es horrible, parece que estás en una galera romana y hay alguien tocando el tambor para que remes. De verdad es insoportable. He tratado de insonorizarla pero todavía no lo he conseguido del todo. Compré una espuma insonorizante pero no es lo suficientemente densa, he pensado en enterrarla medio metro. 3.- La regulación automática de la temperatura interior va de -2 a +2 grados, por lo que si ajustas la consigna a 20 grados, la temperatura oscila entre 18 y 22, (cuando llega a los 22 se apaga y no vuelve a arrancar hasta que su extraño sistema para captar la temperatura interior piensa que estás a 18 grados) pero ese sistema no es exacto y a veces la temperatura de la caravana ha llegado hasta los 26 grados y encima se ha chupado el depósito en una noche. 4.- Por último y no menos importante, el manual explica los parámetros pero no hace referencia al código corto que aparece en la pantalla y al final desistí de ajustar el equipo a través del panel porque no podía relacionar el orden del manual con el orden de aparición de parámetros y como compré el modelo con bluetooth lo hice desde la aplicación.

I own several of these heaters and have found they all leak exhaust fumes, right out of the box, due to leaking gaskets and lack of sealing where it is needed. I do not consider these to be "plug and play" because the issues need to be addressed before safely using. I'm hoping the manufacturer will upgrade the units in the near future to prevent the need for having to repair them yourself before using. The main gaskets between components are layered and fumes leak between the layers, the rubber grommets leak, and the mating surface of the motor to housing leaks. All of the leaks will let exhaust fumes into the living area at one level or another. I found out the hard way by waking up with a headache one morning. I'm an HVAC installer and extremely mechanically inclined so I was able to make the repairs myself by installing new single layer gaskets along with red RTV to seal the problem areas. I pressure test my heaters with a small blower or fog machine to find leaks, similar to pressure/vacuum testing a 2 stroke engine. Videos on YT will help with the repairs, search for "diesel heater leaking fumes" for info. Safety first is a must. These heaters are excellent once the leaks are repaired.

This easily deserves 5 stars. I use it in my 10x16 shop, and it is a massive upgrade from my old propane Reddy heater, which didn't spread the heat well. This diesel heater blows the heat exactly where I need it. I start by aiming it at the middle of the room, and once it is warm, I aim it at the floor. Because heat rises, the whole place stays perfectly toasty. The Bluetooth app makes it so easy to use, and with the built-in thermostat, I can just set it and forget it
