This thing is awesome! Only issue a have is the blade seems to slip off too often. That makes for a longer process time.

Overall extremely impressed with this bonesaw. Better quality build than expected for the price. Only downside I see so far is no blade scraper inside so is a real project to clean . Bone dust gets EVERYWHERE Inside. But it serves its purpose well and cut through a frozen short loin to make porterhouse and t-bones with easy.

This little bandsaw exceeded my expectations. When it arrived it was well packed in a wooden crate. Right out of the box it was ready to go. It seemed very well fabricated and the motor had lots of power. We had a deer in the cold room so we put the saw to use right away. Cutting was effortless. I am a retired woodworker so I knew not to push the saw - let the blade set the feed rate. No problem at all to consistently produce uniform 1" steaks. I couldn't see any safety issues - the push bar is a good safety feature so don't take it off. After use I took the blade off for a soak in warm soapy water - hosed the wheel area down with cold water than gave all surfaces a soapy bath and rinsed with warm water from a hose hooked to the laundry tub. It was much easier to get super clean than I thought it would be. Pay extra attention to the blade - you will think you have it clean but you don't. Dry with a paper towel and you will see what I mean. I did the cleaning outside than brought the unit inside to dry. I was able to pick it up and move it around by myself but it would be best to have someone helping. I liked it so much I recommended it to a neighbor and he is going to get one!

Came nicely boxed no damage easy to set up but had an issue. I bought it to cut ice into nice size cubes and it what is leaving a black residue look like it was coming from the aluminum, which should be stainless by the way it is not turned out the blade teeth were rubbing on the pulley. It needed an adjustment. I called them and they got back to me right away very quickly and resolve the problem although it still is advertised with a stainless steel blade and it does not have a stainless steel blade if it is it must be magnetic shitty grade stainless steel, because my magnet sticks to it.

I have only been able to use this saw 3 times, but I am very impressed with quality and performance.

Butchering hogs at home, what a time saver. You can't push meat through as fast as a commercial saw or it binds up, but it cuts half frozen meat very well.

DONT BUY THIS...USELESS....AFTER 3RD USE THE TENSIONER IS BROKEN....NOW THE BLADE FLEX....NEED TO SEE IF I CAN CLAIM WARRANTY

Package came in damaged. Had to splice a capacitor wire to get running. Back plate tack welds popped off. Should be easy fix. Once I get the small kinks worked out I believe it will be great. Cut two deer hams up in under a couple minutes. Does get messy and cleanup isn’t a cake walk so make sure you’re prepared. Overall I am pleased with functionality vs price.

I purchased the smaller bandsaw based on the messages I had with this company. When I asked what the difference was between the 1600 and the 2200 other than motor size I was told there was no difference. My friend has the larger one and there are significant differences between the two models. The larger one has a better fence for straight cuts and it also has an auto tension for the blade. It also features small plastic guides that help prevent any “spray” from the blade onto the product being cut. If perfect cuts are not needed I would say the smaller unit works well but the ease of the larger unit is so much better.
