The surface of the anvil has 2 plugwelds, both of which are fairly good sized. These definitely will cause problems in the use of the anvil. Also have a few areas of casting porosity that could be structural problems. I am not happy with the aforementioned problems but whether or not Vevor will do anything about this remains to be seen

Weight advertised on website is 100 pounds, shipping weight on box I received says 82 pounds -- enough said!

This item was purchased for a beginner backyard blacksmith when the cast iron anvil we had broke after a couple years of use. We had seen a youtube video "reviewing" it that didn't mention many downsides for a budget beginner anvil. One of the main reasons we chose this product was because of the hardie hole advertised at 1.1" square. It arrived and is in fact 1 and 3/8" square. This makes it useless for hoping to try to use a hardie tool that would be designed to fit in a 1" square hole. When I reached out to the company, hoping for a possibility of exchange, I was offered a partial refund of my purchase price. Due to the lack of a storefront and the cost of any effort at return shipping, I understand this was the only option given. However, I was frustrated that they seemed to state the website description was supposed to be updated with the correct hardie hole size and they were working on it, but hadn't done it yet. It doesn't take much to update a website description, and I feel it is misleading future customers. The anvil has a nice ring, but lacking other features and with the useless hardie hole, I wouldn't recommend it unless you literally only need a flat hard surface. We'll be looking elsewhere for another anvil.

Nice other than soft spot on face , dropped ball bearing and dented surface , basically a big piece of steel to hammer on but don't see it lasting

The shipping was horrible, i ordered it on november 30th and was told i would get it on the second, then the third, then the fourth, then the 6th, 7th, 8th and finally it arrived on the 9th.

Ich würde den Amboss nicht wieder kaufen da er an den Kanten nicht richtig gehärtet ist und schon teilweise rostig ankam. Die Feile greift komplett und bei leichten Hammerschlägen werden sie schon eingedrückt. Im Großen und ganzen kann man ihn verwenden aber eine gute Qualität ist etwas anderes!

I have never experienced a worse customer service or shipping experience. To make the story short, VEVOR has no way of tracking anything accurately, and CEVA outright lies. Wastes your time staying around to accept a shipment that never comes. Finally they offered for me to drive to the warehouse and pick up the item. Never doing business with either company again. Wise up! You both have terrible reviews online.

They just never sent it. 3 or 4 weeks went by after they sent the email saying it shipped but it never did. Finally got a refund.

Le colis est arrivé défoncé. L'enclume aurait mérité, au vue de son poids, un conditionnement adapté et non un simple morceau de plastique (on se demande d'ailleurs ce qu'il fait là...), ainsi que deux petits morceaux de contre-plaqué dont un ne servait strictement à rien puisque non mis sur le côté. Impossible de rajouter les photos au commentaire.

I would love to report that my anvil came in quickly, and that I love forging on it.... but the truth is I had a different outcome this time. I ordered the anvil and after 2 full weeks of waiting I messaged vevor (Thursday well say the 20th)and they suggested a bit more patience, and I complied, but on the following Friday (the 28th) I was issued a full refund. Overall I am a little disappointed that I had to settle for a lighter anvil, and the overall experience. With that being said I believe in second chances. I will give them another shot because the do make quality tools and instruments! This one might not have worked out, but ill see yall again soon!
