What a great little chop saw perfect for DIY work cutting small size tubing or round stock either cold or hot rolled mild steel. Had to tweet the guard a little due to misalignment of screw no big deal now guard drops down as it should. It is a little loud without hearing protection but then again it is a little 1200 watt brushed motor which tend to be loud. The soft start up is nice so she doesn’t jump off the workbench. Comes up to speed quickly ready to work. First test was on some cold rolled 1/2” x 1/16” square tubing and it cut through like butter. Being a small blade compared to a 14” you have to let the saw do the work so you can’t just push down with a lot of force. If you use this in the way it was designed to be used should last a long time. As with any type of tool they are designed for a specific purpose and this one is for light duty DYI use. This quality of the casting and fast adjusting vise screw is also a nice feature. The saw was square out if the box which was a plus of attention to detail. It’s footprint is small enough you can store it just about anywhere when not in use. If you are like me space is a important commodity in a home workshop and she fits the bill. Heck it even came with a extra set of brushes for the motor what more could you ask for all for $89. This saw will serve me well with cutting mild steel for decorative steel sculptures and miscellaneous wall hangings. If you need this type of saw buy it makes cutting materials a snap.

The saw I received is a 240v motor. No where in the product description does it saw 240v. I don’t have 240v wiring so I can’t use the saw. Also, the blade guard arrived bent into the path of the saw, which would’ve been an issue if I could’ve even plugged in the saw. Also, there is supposed to be a quick adjust latch for the angle, but it is just a hex head. I will update this post if and when I am able to return the product and get a refund. Update: I was able to return the saw. Just be aware that this is a 240V motor.

after a drawn out process, I now have a working saw. To be fair, Vevor support was very good, but the language barrier did not help. To sum up, the first saw was shipped with a 110V plug, and it quit when I tried a test cut. The saw was replaced with a refurbished one (likely failed for same reason and repaired) but had a 110V plug, AGAIN. This is a 220v saw people, it is written on the motor plate, and in hindsight, I should have trusted it. If you run it on 110v, the saw will only reach 750 rpm, and the variable speed is ineffective. They ultimately allowed me to cut the end off, and install a proper, 220v I purchased myself (rather than waiting two weeks for a new cord) and maintain the warranty. Thank you Vevor, but it was a long process.

Machine bien reçue dans un bon délai. Elle a l'air bien conçue. La description indique une machine sans balais. Je ne vais pas procéder à un démontage d'une machine neuve mais je m'interroge sur le pourquoi elle est livrée avec des balais de rechange.

The saw does its job, clean cuts. It has some issues like the cutting size for 45 degrees, as it can’t even handle a 1.5” tube like in the picture attached. I had to change the holder position to be able to do it in 45 degrees. Also the screw to change the degrees could have a fixed handle to make it easier to change. The 45 degrees is not that precise as in long pieces we can notice de difference.

Also an sich eine super Säge die ohne Probleme läuft wenn da nicht der unter Tisch mit “Schraubstock” wäre. Als erste ist der Tisch nicht gerade sondern hängt durch was durch die “Schweißnähte “ kommt . Auf den eingefügten Fotos kann man sehen das da nur halbherzig einige Hefter drunter sind . Dann die Gewinde sind voll mit Farbe und die Spannvorrichtung ist einfach ein Witz . Bei 45 grad Schnitten rutscht jedes Rohr einfach raus und die Winkel skaala hätte man sich einfach schenken können.Also alles in allem mit ein bisschen Mühe und Nacharbeit trotzdem ein brauchbares Werkzeug .In Angesicht der Funktionen (Drehzahlregelung/Leistung/Schnittkapazität) würde ich sie mit wieder kaufen .

the original listing of the saw DID NOT say it was a 240V product. I have pictures of before they changed the listing after I made my return ticket. I'll add said pictures. This saw has a motor that needs a 240 power supply yet comes with a 2 prong cord. IF you are in the US you are screwed and won't be able to use this with 110v. you'll overload the motor. product is said to be adjustable rpm (750-1200rpm) but because under power it won't go any faster that 550rpm and that is just turning it on and not cutting ANY material. imagine trying to cut material and it gets loaded. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. THEY WILL ARGUE AND SAY THAT IS CORRECT WIRING AND THAT YOU NEED THE PROPER POWER SOURCE. THEY WILL NOT ADMIT FAULT AND WON'T ISSUE A REFUND OR HOW TO RETURN THE PRODUCT. I have a shop with 240v supply as i weld, have a big air compressor and such. this is not the issue the product is not setup for U.S. electrical standards.

I received the saw and noticed it would only run at 525 rpm when it should be adjustable from 750-1200rpm. I contacted Vevor about this and they took a week just to get a response. They told me it's because the saw is 240v. I never would have guessed since the saw comes with a standard 2 prong 120v plug, so I checked the label on the saw and confirmed it says 240v. Also, when I bought the saw, the description did not say 240v but now it does. Anyone buying this saw in North America is going to plug it into the 120v outlet at their house and it's only gonna go 500ish rpm. Whether they notice or not, it isn't right. This saw is designed for the Asian market where a standard type A plug is used for 240v. Took over 3 weeks of back and forth in a chat session to get a refund..... Vevor is great if you don't have any problems with the products. If you do have problems, good luck with their customer service. You can't talk to anyone and you may get one half ass response a day if your lucky.
