It's kind of slow to cut and has difficulty couldn't cabbage or any other hard vegetable. When cutting meat it does a fair job. One thing I don't like is that when cutting anything that there's no way of catching it as the slices fall off. So basically you're going to have to let it fall and then collect it behind it. You cannot put a plate behind it to catch the meat or anything else. You're just going to end up with a mess you have to pick up. It also doesn't drop the meat and nice stacks behind the maid slicer.

A HUGE improvement on the cheap whitewoods store slicer. (I still can't give that away) It's super quick to slice a heap of bacon efficiently and with consistent results. The blade also arrives SUPER sharp. Drawbacks: Not finished that well. Some inner pieces still had swarf attached. Having a blade brake would make it easier to remove the whole blade for cleaning. At the moment I'm slowly cleaning the blade still attached to the slicer. Travel. More travel would mean I can slice long pieces of bacon, but I have to cut it in half to fit into the carrier. Possibly an extra length adaptor would be a nice option. The blade is plenty big enough, it's just the travel of the carrier that's limited. Overall: for the price, a worthy kitchen investment.

This slicer is great. Everything lines up fine. Made nice slices on meat and cheese.What more do i need to say this review makes you put 100 or more characters in comment box before it will accept and let you post.

It's an excellent slicer, but it lack in power to slice ham and other meat. That it what I used it for so far.

The product is great and very easy to use. It seems well made and after the first use, fairly easy to clean. Only issue is delivery, I ordered the product on the 15th May, website stated delivery between 18th-20th May. I received the product on the 27th May. I assume its due to the carrier they use, I have just ordered another product from them, and delivery again seems to be an issue.

So far, we've used this slicer for roast beef and raw red cabbage. It worked very well for each of these. Overall, we're very please with the ease of use and quality of this slicer. As people mention, it is a little difficult to wash it, but once you learn the process, it isn't too terrible. We recommend this slicer.

Nice slicer, good quality ,does a great job if slicing. I sliced smoked cheder cheese , summer sausage and smoked bacon straight out of the smoker. Everything was frozen but he bacon and slice like butter except the bacon which was warm. Next time i will freeze the bacon before slicing. I am very pleased with this slicer.

Macchina difettosa, ho un problema serio con il coperchio della lama , la macchina non la posso utilizzare, e molto pericoloso rischio di farmi male , l'ho messa da parte non la utilizzo , non chiedi l rimborso , ma solo una macchina che funziona bene , e soprattutto con il copri lame che chiude bene , . This slicer works great it is smooth and the blade doesn't bog down. I've used it about a dozen times to slice meat for jerky and is easy to use and clean. I took two stars off because on my third use the dial to select the thickness fell off and it took a good 20 minutes to get it back on but now the numbers are meaningless as I could not get it calibrated correctly. Overall all the dial is not a huge deal to me and I am still happy overall with the slicer. If I had to replace it for any reason I would buy from Vevor again.
