This ice maker is great, when kept clean. After a week or two it will randomly start making a horrible sound that is similar to an extremely long and sound fart. Deep cleaning the ice maker seems to remedy this for a week or two. But simply running the standard cleaning cycle only gets you a few hours. If you can clean it weekly or biweekly, then you're good. If you want something you can just push a button and keep going, look elsewhere.

This is a very small unit. However it does make enough ice for a 32 oz cup in a single filled chamber. It is very small which is nice in space limited kitchens. It has a large enough water reservoir to make two batches of ice without having to be refilled or you can run a direct line of water to it. I learned that I can fill it by pouring water into the ice collection chamber when the ice collection chamber is empty. It is very convenient and handy. Much cheaper than any other nugget ice maker and meets my needs for a 1 to 2 person situation. You could bag the ice and freeze it if you need it a larger quantity. Does make ice quickly, it takes about 15 minutes to fill the compartment. Will keep the compartment full of freshly made ice as the old ice melts it remakes new ice if you leave the machine on.

Had the ice maker about three months and it has died. Motor started squealing loudly like it was going to lock up. Chatter with customer support but even after 3 days have not got an answer back from them.

Makes ice like it says. I wish the water reservoir was a little bigger.

I don’t know where to start. I wanted another ice machine. The one that is in my freezer now doesn’t make enough ice for my need of whiskey on the rocks every hour and a half. Don’t judge me, I have cut back. Anyway, I bought this ice machine with high hopes. Oh boy, does it make ice and sometimes slushies. It’s a gamble what you are going to get. Sometimes you have to give it a good smack. I mean a good one. Like the one dad would give mom at the dinner table that “nobody remembers.” After that, there’s at least a 67% chance you’ll get cubes. But hey, I like frozen margaritas too.

The ice maker was packed well and setup was easy. For 2 days it made nugget ice without issues. My only complaints were the hopper was too small and the hopper should be insulated. By day 3 it stopped making nugget ice and made something similar to snow cone ice. Ran a cleaning cycle and moved it to a different location in the house thinking maybe an airflow issue. That didn't change anything. After another day it started making nugget ice again but then changed over and hasn't made nugget ice since. Contacted Vevor within a week of receiving the item and they responded quickly. Did some troubleshooting over email, when that failed the offered up a few different options for replacement and refund. Maybe I got a dud I don't know. I'm going to go with a different one though as I want a bigger hopper. Very satisfied with the customer service, a little slow as it's an email process, but they are able to make decisions right away and stay in constant contact.

My wife loves it. My only complaint is it is a little tough to clean. Has some tight little spots to get into and the instructions of just using vinegar and self clean mode doesn't quite cut it. About once a month I go in for a deep clean with small brushes and it definitely needs it. Otherwise perfect.
