Sturdy and easy to install.

Fairly easy to install. weather stripping and door latch/lock are not great. Would prefer to be able to use the original latch on the sliding door to lock the installed door.

Me ha sorprendido gratamente el producto. Muy bien embalado y viene con todos los detalles. La puerta es de muy buena calidad y los acabados son excelentes. He comparado dos para hacer una doble puerta abatible, una a la izquierda y otra a la derecha y el resultado en muy bueno.

Doggy door has been worth the investment. We have an 85lb Lab/Hound mix and it fits his size perfectly and uses it with ease. We went with the largest. Now we have peace of mind that he can go out freely and he can let himself in and out if we have to go out for the day. Side note: we did install a doggy cam for his safety in living room to keep watch and in backyard. (We worked with him a few days before we were comfortable leaving him alone, he did hesitate at first coming in and out. So we had to be sure he didn't get himself stuck outside (mentally) in the heat! Cons: the insulation provided with the door needs to be upgraded and the installation instructions are not great but it does take two people for a couple of the steps. Overall a great product with some minor tweaks and additional purchases made to insulate better. Swing door does have some drag so we have to slightly lift it when opening swinging it open. This could also be addressed for a better fit. Options to lift and lower door for adjustment would be beneficial. All in all happy with the purchase and would buy again. We didn't want to loose full function of the door and this gives us that.

Its a difficult instal, for something meant to work with sliding doors, it doesnt, i installed mine on the sliding rail of the door, so when it closes, my sliding door closes around it & gives a better seal, but to do this i needed an angle grinder so I could make an indent to dril threw,& you 100% need a cordless screwdriver to make a fair few wholes in metal too to instal it on any sliding door. I do wish the dog door itself was raised off the ground, would make it easier for the dog, so loses a star on each of those points, however, it opens & closes easy, its simple to remove, there currently isnt other options to this model, & its meant we no longer have to wake multiple times a night to let the dog out, so im not sure if id buy one again, but im glad I have it,

Poor communication. Cannot speak with a person. After many texts back and forth it doesn’t fit correctly. I requested to return for refund and that was never addressed. The video I tried to send was not acknowledged. Very disappointing would not recommend this product. Instructions skipped over several steps and the video made it look so simple. Maybe if you work there or have installed several.

Nice idea...but...doesn't fit the way it's supposed to. No way of locking patio door because the latch supplied doesn't work. Ours was previously installed because the spring loaded top was connected and the parts to seal the sides were missing

For the price definitely can be a lot better and sturder, The middle section is very extremely wobbly so when the dogs go in and out cuz you can't bolt that to the inside of the fine glass door if you're using it to open so there's no way of really bracing and holding it in place to make sure when it's closed. The dogs are going in and out so there's a gap and very wobbly. Definitely needs to be rethought about instructions were horrible to put together. Lots of trial and error. Definitely the door flap is cheap material or a torn ripped. And the actual doggy door blocker is pure metal which is probably the heaviest thing out in this entire door. And way too scary just to be sitting above the doggie doors for them to go in and out. If that for some reason the lock on it decides to release you're going to hurt your dog if they're ever going through it when it falls definitely would hurt them really badly. Not too satisfied with it

Overall, I’m happy with this VEVOR dog door and would purchase it again, but there are a few things to keep in mind during installation. The Good: The overall build quality of the aluminum alloy frame seems really good and sturdy, easily handling my extra-large dog. The 180° swing-open design is a great feature, especially for renters since it doesn't permanently alter the existing slider. The actual installation process was pretty straightforward and easy to manage. Room for Improvement: The included instructions could definitely be better. They are a bit vague in places, so you have to use a little common sense to figure out some of the steps. Additionally, once installed, I noticed some small gaps between the door edge and the door frame on the pivot side. It’s nothing some extra weather stripping can’t fix, but it's something to be aware of if you're looking for a perfectly airtight seal right out of the box. Final Verdict: Despite the minor gap issue and the weak instructions, the door functions exactly as advertised and feels like it will last. For the price and convenience, it's a great buy and I'd absolutely purchase it again.
