I bought this set I the summer of '26 to help me deal with weed growth on the driveway and parking area. These areas are covered in very fine gravel. The unit worked perfectly. I'm thrilled with it except for one thing. The spikes loosen and bend where they insert into the frame. That means they have to be tightened after each use and the some point the spikes will Have to be replaced. Do you have a solution?

Achetée pour éclater les crottins dans mes prés, elle fait parfaitement le travail. Les dents accrochent bien et répartissent efficacement sans avoir besoin d’un gros tracteur. Je la tire avec un quad, et ça fonctionne très bien. Attention cependant : si le quad est trop haut, la chaîne se retrouve trop inclinée et on perd l’efficacité des premières rangées de dents. Il faut une hauteur adaptée pour garder un bon contact au sol. Bonne largeur, maniable et solide pour le prix. Utilisée deux fois pour l’instant, très bon rapport qualité-prix. À voir sur la durée, mais pour le moment je suis très satisfait.

I bought this 6 ft drag harrow for use on soil, well within the advertised use cases (the listing itself is titled "for Gravel Driveway Field" and lists Driveways as a suitable scenario). Within 15 minutes of first use, pulled slowly through soft, sandy soil, no added weight, several tines were already bent and the mounting hardware had loosened. Over the following two weeks I worked with VEVOR support to fix it: replacing the stock nuts with nylon lock nuts and washers and straightening bent tines repeatedly. Despite that, the tines themselves kept failing, as of now, 7 of 40 have broken off completely and roughly half the rest have been bent and straightened at least once. This is all from soil use; I haven't even attempted the gravel driveway use case the product is marketed for. When I raised this, VEVOR support told me the tines are "designed specifically for use on soil" and more likely to break on gravel — which directly contradicts their own product listing and title. I asked for a replacement set or a refund and, as of this review, that has not happened. Bottom line: the frame and hardware are fine, but the tines are the part that actually does the job, and they don't hold up to even light, on-label use. A $400 tool that's unusable within a day is not a good buy. If you're considering this for anything beyond the lightest occasional use, be aware the tine steel does not seem to hold up to the driveway/gravel use case it's advertised for.

Took some finessing to bolt together, an one bolt stripped, but other than that looks like it will work well. Just a note, Purolator took 3 extra days to deliver as they were having an issue with the weight. So be prepared to deal with that...***UPDATE*** So unfortunately I have to revise my overall score, and its not good. All the tines bent, they seem to be made of a mild steel, not hardened as most Agricultural equipment is, no I didn't have any extra weight on the frame, like some do. I was grading earth/clay with some small stones, and three outright broke. The nut's that hold the tines are a weird design for locking and I had to stop and re-tighten them twice as a few fell out. A lock washer or lock-nut should be used. If I had known the overall quality was going to be this bad, I would not have purchased. I towed with a Kawasaki Mule for reference. It's a good idea, just not the highest quality product being used unfortunately. I'll try to sell on Marketplace I guess...

This device failed at a fundamental level and is poorly designed. It basically fell apart after 10 minutes of use. You cannot use the spikes on a gravel driveway and is, thus, deceptively labelled. Vevor did give me a partial refund, but were not able to supply replacement spikes - most of which came loose and were damaged after a few minutes use. The spikes cannot be used on anything other than soft dirt or sand. Using the spikes to loosen gravel does not work. I had to remove the spikes and make several modifications to get this unit to work. Including having to drill several new holes and add extra bolts to prevent the gathering arm from pivoting up and becoming useless. There is a $100 +/- version of this device that would work just as well, if not better.
