Bought these to mud 1800sq ft. full house renovation. This made the second and third coats of mud super easy. Had the wife roll on mud and I skimmed it off. Able to finish coat of all the flat seams in the house in only a few hours. Feathering the seems out to 32" made sanding effortless. I would have never got the seems close to that flat with the 12" knife I used in the past. The only issues I ran into were the mud could get between the knife and extruded aluminium at times hence the 4 star review. Its hard to complain much at this price though professional brands cost a LOT more. If you arent doing this proffesionally, this will get the job done.

I am a remodeling contractor and have been doing mud work for over 20 years. This is my first try with a skimming blade and it worked amazing. It took about half the time than it would have with just a knife and the finish required less sanding. The blades themselves are well made aside from the plastic end caps that keep falling off and the case that they came in is pretty crappy. Overall though, they are a good product and well worth the money.

Can't really beat it for the price. The blades on the 16 and 24 inch arrived bent on one side. They are not as springy as my other 14 inch but I got them bent back without much effort. Maybe a protective sleeve along the edge or shipping them un-installed would prevent them bending. Other than that the black side caps just fall off. Has no effect on function and with or without them on the blades do a great job of feathering out mud and skimming. I would buy again if needed for occasional drywall tape jobs.

Works great, good quality for the price. Used immediately to skim drywall joints on a large project in our facility. found these to be a definite time saver.

These worked brilliantly. I guess my only wish for improvement is that the corners were rounded. But I was very happy with the results. So much nicer and easier to use than regular mud knives.

Long blade is pretty wavy. I think it will flatten out when in use. Pole is pretty solid. Case seems decent. The other blades seems decent. Overall seems legit.

I bought this set for a job where the customer wanted me to skim all of their walls and ceilings to cover up all of the texture. The handles are great. The blades, not so much. I ran my finger down the edges of each and it was lumpy and uneven. I thought I’d still give it a try, maybe it wouldn’t show on the finish. They left ripples across the surface. I ended up using a level sanding beam to flatten the blade edges and that cleaned it up perfectly. After my frustration with this set I bought some Level 5 skimming blades and they worked incredibly well. Still though, these are not bad skimmers. These just need some better finishing to get them properly usable as a finishing skimmer.
