I had purchased this to help me pull up a little scooter that I use to get around onto a platform attached to the hitch of SUV. At most it was going to be pulling 150lb up an 8-degree gradient, so this was a real overkill. It worked for several days after I installed it, then we had bit of rain for a day or so and after that it didn't want to work. I spent a bit of time and money trying to figure it out and ultimately ordered a different winch. Before taking everything apart I used the new controller from second winch to this winch and it worked fine. So learning my lesson, it was the relay that was causing the issue. How do I know this, well I bought a three-way marine switch and replace the one that came with the unit. I also encapsulated the relay and all of its stuff so that it met IP67 specs.

A little noisy, it did arrive on time. Haven't put it to the test yet,so we'll have to see.

Winch motor seems to have good power and was easy installation. But the synthetic cable is cheap and came torn

Beginnt zu rauchen. Ich verwende sie als Winde an einem Anhänger. Hinzu kommt, das der Motor unfassbar laut ist. Leider nur bedingt zu empfehlen, für deutlich kleinere Lasten

I had a 3500lb winch that stopped working. I replace it with this one. this doesn't have nearly the power of my old one. I had it set up to lift something and it couldn't. I put my shoulder under this same thing and could lift it. maybe I'm hee-man and can lift 3500lbs? lol not. this thing struggles with a few hundred pounds.
