I needed a jack to lift my RAV4. The first jack I bought was a Vevor 2 ton single piston jack. It was a good jack, but it wouldn't lift the vehicle high enough to get the tires off the ground without adding makeshift spacers. This 3 ton dual piston jack is much better. It is really heavy, but it works well. It can lift the car plenty high, and it takes many fewer pumps to get there. The jack is shipped with a clip that holds the handle socket down for transport. Please be careful removing this clip. The handle socket is spring loaded, and when the clip is removed, the handle socket jumps up with a good bit of force. I was not anticipating this, and I received an injury similar to hitting my finger with a hammer. I wish that the clip would have had a warning label attached to it.

I bought this VEVOR 3-ton floor jack to replace an old, leaky unit, and it has quickly become my go-to tool for oil changes and brake jobs. User-Friendly Design: The saddle rotates 360 degrees, which makes hitting the jack points much easier in tight garage spaces. It also includes a rubber pad on the saddle, which is a nice touch to prevent scratching the undercarriage or pinch welds. Verdict: For the price, the build quality is outstanding. It doesn’t have the fancy bells and whistles of a $300 professional jack, but for a home mechanic, it’s a workhorse. If you need one jack to handle a variety of vehicles in your driveway, this VEVOR 3-ton model is an excellent choice.

Vevor 3 ton floor jack is much easier to use than my scissor jack. I am replacing my scissor jack.
