It was quite easy to install and used with 1” crusher run and it basically turned into concrete. After putting down the cells, I filled each cell and then use a plate compactor directly over that. Once all the cells were full, I went back and added another inch to 2 inches and plate compacted it again. I was using my riding mower with a trailer to shuttle the rock weighing at least over 800 pounds and I didn’t even see tire prints at that point. This cells held up fine and I was even able to drive on it as soon as the cells were full even before being compacted the first time. The only real downside with it was that they come with these little black pieces in a bag to lock different sections together, and of the five boxes I bought three of those baggies had got lost where the boxes were damaged upon delivery. I will say, though, that there were enough clips in a single bag that I didn’t need any of the other bags. I had some good photos and a video, but the website won’t let me upload any of my stuff because they were taken on an iPhone and doesn’t meet the size requirements…

Not as flexible as I thought. I cut off a few to make it fit. It would be nice if it’s easy to cut to shape.

Pretty sturdy material, not the best if you need to cut it as it becomes flimsy and you lose all the cells, used it to retain some pebbles in a slope, did the job but you need to put quite a lot on top as well so it doesnt rise. If it is flat and you dont need to cut it, then it will do the job.

We installed 3 grids which join with button clips, the supplied clips were insufficient to install exactly as intended but we compromised by using 1 instead of two in some places. You really need 3-4 people to spread out accurately. All in all went in well and filled with roadbase. Concrete to go over top once settled and compacted adequately.

Il manque 7 agrafes par colis. Moins facile à mettre en oeuvre que les plaques rigides. Peut suivre des courbes. le colis n'est pas solide, attention à ce que le sachet d'agrafes soit en bon état.

This retainer is a great idea if you have 100% level land, and are prepared to take forever to slowly install it. Each grid has to be 1/2 filled before you move on to stretching a pegging the next square, which works well if you are doing a sidewalk, not so good when you are trying not to die in the sun laying a gravel driveway or shed base.

It is very thin and flimsy to lay properly on the ground with no anchoring/nailing provision provided. Certainly not suitable for gravel. Plus it is overly priced for what it is.
