Vamos a comentar, para ayudar y animar a otros compradores. Necesitaba una cortadora más potente que la que tenía y elegí esta de Vevor. En este estilo es la más económica. La primera impresión... mala. Por mucha palanca que hicieses sentías que algo amortiguaba la fuerza y media cuchilla no tocaba fondo . La hoja torsionaba y producía varios efectos que hacían los cortes inservibles. Escribí al centro de atención y la respuesta fue inmediata. Con el video enviado la he soltado (30 tornillos. Vevor tiene otro modelo más fácil de desmontar e internamente tiene más tuercas de ajuste) y he eliminado las holguras con unas arandelas "en el lado interno de los ejes de la hoja", para que la arandela externa haga su función. Ahora la hoja ha quedado fija y baja verticalmente, cosa que antes no hacía. Incluso con un "click" al cortar la última hoja, que antes no cortaba. También he corregido la horizontalidad de la barra de presión. Un poco tedioso pero no difícil. Ahora muy contento. Pero si no eres "manitas" y tal como llegó, mal asunto.

I’m giving this product two stars only because the customer service team responded quickly and worked to resolve my issue. Unfortunately, the product itself would receive zero stars from me. The item I received did not match the version shown in the product photos. I believe there may be another version of this product, and that may have been what was sent to me, but it was not what I expected or ordered based on the listing. To make matters worse, the clamp became stuck during use, and when I inspected it, I noticed that it was bent. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable with the quality of the product. While I appreciate the prompt customer service, I was very disappointed with the item itself and will be replacing it with a different brand.

The tracking device is not the same as what you see on the website. Instead, it is a big magnet that keeps moving while trying to get precise measurements. Had I known, I would have bought something else that gave me more precision. It does cut through a lot of paper though. Then again, the safety device that keeps the handle in the air is not doing its job of blocking the handle from falling. Lower quality than expected.

About the only positive thing I can say right now, is it came a day earlier than expected. The first confusing thing is the version that shipped is not the one you see online. The paper alignment bar is magnetic and it difficult to get straight on the ruler lines. I could figure out how to assemble it, but it's confusing at first. Once I stated using it, the magnetic paper alignment bar can move slightly. Next, the pressure bar that holds the paper during cutting leaves an indentation on the good side of the paper you're cutting – so the waste side actually turns out better. The instructions are so basic and there aren't any tips. It will cut through large stacks of paper but count on some being damaged in the process. I would give it more stars if it didn't smash the corner of the paper, or if there was a way to avoid it.

I have had issues with this since the day it arrived. Customer service is awful! Instead of answering my question, they have to "Open a Ticket" and investigate. And then I have to wait up to 48 hours to get a response. The response I get does not even answer my question. The instruction manual that arrived with this trimmer shows a black bar that is attached to a white bar at the top of this trimmer. This is where I line up my paper to cut the size I want. This did not come in my box. It took over a week for someone to finally respond by saying they updated this with a magnetic item. The one that was in my box already had one of the magnets missing. It took days to get a response about the missing magnet. Finally they agree to send what is actually shown in the instruction booklet. What they do not let me know is that the white bar this is attached to has to be replaced, as well. The one that is on it now, does not come off. I asked for directions. Again, it took days to get a response. This was Vevor's answer to me, "There are not Instructions or Videos to show how to do this. Just take off the old and put on the new" The old DOES NOT come off. The 4th photo shows the white bar still attached and the new bar has an opening down the middle to slide the black bar back and forth. The last photo shows how the bar that came with this trimmer is attached. And still I cannot get it off, I don't know if it is welded or just really tightly fitted into these slots. There are little bits that go through the whole trimmer and I cannot get this off to install the new one. I have had this for over a month now and have been going back and forth with Customer Support. Never once could i simply ask a question and get an answer. Every questions takes days to get a response and the response never addresses the question I asked. After taking weeks back and forth with customer service. I gave up and just this week I tried to just use this trimmer. I line the paper up on the 8 inch mark. Each stack I try to slice comes out a different measurement. Photos 1 - 2 show the angle that gets cut. The top of the stack is 8 inches and by the bottom of the stack it is a no longer 8 inches, its more like 7 5/8. Its either cutting at an angle or squeezing the paper so much the paper is shifting as the blade cuts through. This is supposed to be HEAVY DUTY. Advertised as cutting though 400 sheets at a time. I cannot get it to cut though more than about 100 sheets of basic copy paper. and , like I said, It either cuts at an angle. Or it is shifting the paper as it is cutting. For the price I paid, I would expect to get accurate clean cuts. This is more aggravation than its worth. UPDATE: Vevor responded to me in regards to my review quicker than they did to any of my questions to customer support.

Initially, I faced a significant delay in obtaining the necessary missing handle, with a lengthy eight-day waiting period for customer service to confirm its requirement. Subsequently, I was informed that an additional wait of 15 days would be necessary for the handle to arrive. Upon receiving the cutter, I observed a few issues, including damaged feet, scratches in several areas, and the absence of the handle. Despite these concerns, I opted to retain the item due to the lengthy eight-month restock period I'd encountered. However, I believe it would have been beneficial if customer service could have extended a small refund for the damages. Such a gesture could have conveyed an acknowledgment of my concerns, particularly regarding the possibility that the items may have been second-hand, which was not addressed. In summary, while there are certainly areas for improvement in both the product and service, I appreciate the complexities surrounding product availability and customer service interactions. By addressing these issues, I believe future customers could enjoy a more positive experience. As and when I receive the Handle I will update this review.

I purchased this specific VEVOR 17" Heavy Duty Paper Cutter because the arm extender shown in the listing was connected to the base. I specifically did not want a magnetic extender, so that feature was a major reason I chose this model over other options. The cutter I received did not match what was advertised and instead came with a magnetic extender. When I contacted VEVOR, I was essentially told that they had changed the design and that this is simply how the product is made now. If the design has changed, the product listing, photos, and description should be updated to accurately show what customers will receive. I would not have purchased this model if the listing had shown a magnetic extender. It is frustrating to buy based on a specific advertised feature, receive something different, and then be told the design changed after the fact. Very disappointing experience with both the product listing and the way the issue was handled.

Super quick delivery, haven’t used it yet because it was delivered improperly. I didn’t receive the guillotine in the photo that has the crank for the paper holder but rather a flimsy magnetic one that, based on other reviews, doesn’t hold. It’s my first time ordering from Vevor, and I have to say I have massive mixed feelings given that I was happy with the speed of delivery but I didn’t get what I ordered. Update: I’ve used the guillotine about for about 15-20 cuts and now the handle for the pressure plate to hold the paper still is completely seized and I can’t seem to get anyone at Vevor to assist me and how to unseize it. Severely upset and disappointed with this experience so far. They also said they have discontinued the crank version to hold the paper in alignment and only do the magnetic one now as an FYI to future buyers. Second update: Been going back and forth with support now and told me to use a rod to get leverage to turn the seized handle (which I already told them I did). Then sent a video of them using a hammer to do so, so I used my own hammer to try and do exactly what they did and snapped the handle right off. I am infuriated at this purchase and the support. I’m requesting a refund and want this guillotine out of my house. Will add a final update once support gets back to me. Third update: Customer service offered me a full refund or a new product to replace the original. I just received the new one (which came with the crank which is so much better and paper doesn’t slide under it) and after about the 20th cut of 75 sheets of lined paper (MUCH less than the 400 mentioned for this cutter) the same handle stopped working AGAIN. This time it didn’t seize up, it now just spins as if it’s no longer connected to the pressure plate. Because it’s not. Hoping to have this one resolved otherwise a full refund has got to be on the way. Only bright side is the speed in delivery and speed in response times from customer service, otherwise this has not been good at all.
