I bout this jack hammer as I needed to rip out my main drain in my house and when I went to go rent a Jack Hammer, I was shocked as to how much it was to rent for 24 hours, and me being a disabled veteran I knew I would need it longer than 24 hours so I went looking to buy one, at first pawn shops, then harbour fright, then on line all of them were over $250 dollars then when looking online I seen the price for this Vevor Jack hammer and I was thinking wow really that low of a price , but did not right away but that Jack Hammer,trying to see if I could find one lower. NOPE, Could not find one then I bought it thinking hopefully it would last at least till I got my main drain done, then it would be cheaper than renting one and I could possibly sell it then. But I decided I would keep it as I know or think the main drain would again rot out at a different location and would need one again and then it would be more expensive and now the Vevor Jack Hammer has paid for itself in two ways first it was cheaper then to RENT ONE, and Second it did the job as good as or better than other Jack hammers I've used in the past. So Yes This Jack Hammer, at least the one I got is excellentnfor what I need.

This is a great tool for home use. I had to demo a walkway, no problem. Had to break up some hard pack dirt, easy peasy. The bits are sid and easy to switch out. Handle is kind of thin but does the trick. I wouldn’t recommend for commercial use but its great for the DIY type.

Used at my couple small basement bathroom projects for digging the base concrete. Not a really heavy duty, got hot after 20 minutes using. Good for small projects, recommend take a break after 20 minutes using and keep taking breaks every 10 minutes after first break. Also don’t forget the maintenance. But at this price, it can finish the work well. I am happy for my purchase.

This jack hammer light weight, yet powerful to do heavy duty work. It is going to help me loosen up the dirt where couple palm trees were there before and save me a lot of muscle. The palm tree roots are horrendous tough to grind.

So, like others I'm sure feel, it required a certain "leap of faith" to buy something like this, from a company on the internet... No showroom, no chance to pick one up and hold it, or try it out. I must say, that I couldn't find a reason not to buy it. I did my due diligence, ( read reviews, watched a couple of YouTube videos), and then pulled the trigger on the purchase. To be honest, it's not my first Vevor product. I've got one of their Diesel heaters in my garage, and it's a kicking bang for the buck item. I was concerned that the jackhammer might not be up to the job that I had for it.... busting up some rocks! I'd already dropped some fair coin on Dexpan expanding grout, and more coin on bits for my rotary hammer, so I was looking at this jackhammer to get the job done. Promptly shipped and well packed, it quickly arrived. I was impressed with the packaging, and everything you need to get started is inside the really cool travel suitcase thingy! Vevor supplies everything that you need to get get going right away. As a bonus, the travel case is reasonably sturdy, and holds everything... Cool!! Fill it with oil ( supplied), add a heavy duty extension core, and away we go. Seriously ... how they get so much power from a single 120V outlet is truly amazing. It should be noted that it needs it's own circuit and a heavy duty extension cord. I tried using a 1,700 Watt Makita inverter Generator, and it just couldn't handle the load, the safety fuse popped almost immediately. Once on a proper extension cord, it was all good. I carves through just about anything that you put in front of it. I ordered the tamping kit, which includes a spare chisel point, to pound down the dirt after I was done. So, do what I did.. stop reading reviews, and just order one! You'll love it!

The Vevor demolition hammer is a high quality tool. I've used it to cut hard roots on fig trees. It does the job easily. It's pretty heavy for me (83 y/o) to use but once I have it in position, it works like a charm.
