I purchased a 100ft model for my backyard for my wife to use to water her flowers. It was the new styl with the black hose. She loved it so I purchased this 65ft for the front yard. This one is the old style with a gray hose. She hates it. My wife is a smaller, older woman and she has problems pulling this one out and getting it to lock. It’s 3 times harder to pull out. I reached out to Vevor tech support and explained the situation and told them I wanted to return this for the new style and I would pay the difference in price. I was told that they sent me the one I ordered and they would not work with me. After 10 emails back and forth and getting the run around. I’m done with Vevor If you order a hose reel from Vevor make sure it is the new style with the black hose. This one works great the gray hose one sucks. Hope this helps someone.

The hose is very hard to pull out and retract in

Works ok, leaks at the handle

It doesn’t retract very good, the last 10 feet has to be pushed in. Not impressed.

My vevor retractable hose has issues. The hose does not stop when pulling it out to a certain length. It retracts without stopping. I have to maintain a constant pull on it to keep it from retracting.

L’enrouleur s’enroule très mal. Il coince très souvent. Par contre le boyau est de bonne qualité

Everything internally is plastic. The belt inside looks like a zip tie. I've only had it about a month and i've used it a handful of times. It has jammed a couple times. For 75$ if it lasts 2-3 seasons, I would say it was worth it. I doubt it's going to last that long.

I am updating my review. Of the 4 I own, 2 have failed. They do not get used that much but the spring or retrack mechanism seemed to 'let go', when the hose was about 50% extended I heard a bump, bump, bump sound like a spring released. Now it only retracts about half way.

Very poor quality,, bought 2 years ago and stored in side in winter and the retractable hose wont go back in

Received this as a Christmas gift and installed it this week after our driveway was completed. Very disappointing as there isn't any pressure. Pressure at the faucet is strong, but the hose pressure is terrible.
