I read some poor reviews but I’ve been fairly carful with it and nearly a year later it has held up well.

This works great. I didn't bother using the straps that are supposed to be screwed into the side of the hottub because, on a solid ground, the cover doesn’t lean away from the tub when open and I didn't want to screw into the hottub walls. This is far better than the original cover lift that was screwed into the hottub walls.

Works just as good as expected.

Wasn't sure how well this would work but it worked out perfectly. Setup a dry run and have someone assist you making sure you get the length/location right. Dozen or so screws to assemble they just self tap into the metal. You can mount to the ground but once the feet are under the hot tub they don't seem like they are going anywhere. My hot tub was full so I used a couple pieces of 2x4 one as a fulcrum and one to lift the tub and a helper can slide the feet under the full hottub.

Was real easy to install and it works amazing love that I don't have to take the co er off and on everytime this product just let's it hang off the back and is real nice

I bought this for a Arctic Spa hot tub with a 92" wide cover. Though the description says it can support upto 92.5", in my opinion, I would not recommend for a cover that size. I partially installed it just to see how well it would support the cover... unfortunately the lifter frame must be extended to its max settings which dramatically decreases the lifter strenght and stability. As such I cannot use this. However, this lifter would be fantastic for a cover of 87" or less. It's a great design, the lifter bars are elongated into a curved end that acts as a natural "stop" for when the cover is in the up position and the bottom plates are solid enough. The bottom plates have screw holes in case you elect to secure it to the footing of your hot tub. Also it has an addition of hooks for towels.

Nice finish. Easy instal. Works as it should. Would recommend to be used for lifting full cover off of hot tub.

The Hot Tub Cover Lift is just right works well with replacing my original lift, and I would recommend this item! The reason not getting 5 star is you need to do some drilling to make pilot holes (comes with drill bit) for the included screws which was NOT included in the instructions or description for the lift.
