This works as well as the name brand. I did have to buy a F-F coupler since this unit has M threads on each end. Unit installed and works as good as the more expensive name brand.

This recirc pump has been in service for about a month now and it's doing a great job. It replaced a Grundfos pump that died after about 3 years. The problem with the Grundfos pump was the impeller. It spun on a plastic bearing. As you might imagine, that arrangement does not suggest long life. And a replacement impeller is not available. The Grundfos pump did a good job. This Vevor pump has started out doing a better job. It is moving the hot water probably twice as fast as did the Grundfos pump. The Vevor pump has 3 selectable power levels and I have it running on "medium". The pump runs 24/7. So far I'm quite happy with this pump. Time will tell about its longevity.

Pump itself seems good so far, had to buy a Kasa smart WiFi plug to program timers for it, because the one built in is some sort of ancient Mayan sundials written in an alien language. I assumed the 40C valve it came with would automatically shut the pump off mechanically somehow, again came with 0 instructions or diagrams, that almost blew the pump up, and burned me with steam trying to diagnose it. Had to tape the plastic housing for the original timer from making rattling sounds. had to watch dozens of videos and diagrams from other products online to figure out how to install it for whole home loop. BUT for the price and warranty coverage, worth it so far.

Works great to circulate my small above ground pool water through a wood fired pool heater.

Item was packaged well and was shipped via FedEx. Upon examination, I noticed that nothing was included in the accessories that provided a means of connecting the pump to my water heater. Water heater has a 3/4"NPT male outlet nipple and the base of the pump is also a 3/4" male NPT. They did provide a means to downsize their inlet/outlet sizes to 1/2" NPT, which was no help in my situation. A trip to Menard's to purchase a 3/4" stainless steel union for connecting the pump to my water heater solved the dilemma. So, be aware if you are considering this pump. Verify your connection point size on your water heater and be prepared to purchase a union. Once connected and running, it seems to operate as expected. Under sink connections were without issues. Their instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired and can be confusing. Fortunately the overall install went well once I had the union and studied the settings on the pump, carefully comparing it with the manual. We shall see how well it holds up. I purchased the 3 year warranty for $9 just in case. Customer service is responsive. Pictures show connection point of pump . . connection point on water heater . . . and union I purchased to make the connection.
