We did a different set up. We took the hot water pipe from the hot water tank and put a set of by pass valves in. This way if the pump screw up it can be bypassed without doing major fixes later. It did take the time to get warm water upstairs down from 25 seconds to 5 seconds straight out of the box. I am still figuring out the settings to make some adjustments. I did increase the water flow rate on the pump so i havent lost any water pressure to my whole house even with the crazy looking bypass set up. Make sure you use good teflon tape, the tape that is provided is trash and caused leaks but i changed all the fittings to good tape then didnt have leaks. We have the return loop in our ensuite bathroom upstairs and havent had any issues with that. We also had 3/4 water lines so i had to do a pit of pipe and PEX management to get everything to fit into and screw onto each thing appropriately. My brother has this pump too and his has held up a year or more already so they seem to be worth the DIY project to get hot water throughout the house faster. My knocks are the instructions are kinda trash and there aren’t many good videos on the installation and set up for this water recirculator.

Pump itself seems good so far, had to buy a Kasa smart WiFi plug to program timers for it, because the one built in is some sort of ancient Mayan sundials written in an alien language. I assumed the 40C valve it came with would automatically shut the pump off mechanically somehow, again came with 0 instructions or diagrams, that almost blew the pump up, and burned me with steam trying to diagnose it. Had to tape the plastic housing for the original timer from making rattling sounds. had to watch dozens of videos and diagrams from other products online to figure out how to install it for whole home loop. BUT for the price and warranty coverage, worth it so far.

Item was packaged well and was shipped via FedEx. Upon examination, I noticed that nothing was included in the accessories that provided a means of connecting the pump to my water heater. Water heater has a 3/4"NPT male outlet nipple and the base of the pump is also a 3/4" male NPT. They did provide a means to downsize their inlet/outlet sizes to 1/2" NPT, which was no help in my situation. A trip to Menard's to purchase a 3/4" stainless steel union for connecting the pump to my water heater solved the dilemma. So, be aware if you are considering this pump. Verify your connection point size on your water heater and be prepared to purchase a union. Once connected and running, it seems to operate as expected. Under sink connections were without issues. Their instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired and can be confusing. Fortunately the overall install went well once I had the union and studied the settings on the pump, carefully comparing it with the manual. We shall see how well it holds up. I purchased the 3 year warranty for $9 just in case. Customer service is responsive. Pictures show connection point of pump . . connection point on water heater . . . and union I purchased to make the connection.

Bomba de excelente calidad en sus acabados, la marca es Vevor. La bomba es de acero vaciado. Se observa resistente, treblas conexiónes y el teflón.. La recomiendo ampliamente

He pedido una bomba para recirculación de agua caliente sanitaria. Para hacer recirculación. Me ha llegado una bomba con cuerpo de hierro normal. No es de inox ni apta para ACS. Solicito cambio. Como podeis ver el pedido es de una bomba para calentador de agua con cuerpo de inox. Y ha llegado una bomba para calefaccion con cuerpo de hierro. Adjunto fotos. Como se ve en las fotos, la bomba que ha llegado no es la del pedido.

Bypass valve failed after six months, they will not replace just the part. Customer service is horrible, I just need the valve, they want me to send the whole system back then they will send me a whole replacement. Really don't feel like uninstalling and then reinstall the whole system when I just need the bypass valve. Their customer support makes no sense whatsoever. They want a video of me showing that the valve failed and that there is hot water coming from my cold tap, last time I checked hot and cold water look the same on video. Save yourself the headache, avoid vevor.
