Great tool for the price. My only complaint is the bulkiness of this compared to other hydraulic kits. The inserts are quite large, but it still works good.

This is really good for copper but when using stainless steel it doesn't seem to work really good try to use it on stainless steel and it didn't work too good

I bought this primarily for the double flare feature, specifically the 3/8'' tube size and wanted to use it on stainless steel tube. That said, the first time I used it the 3/8'' tube just pushed right out of the holding die and didn't produce a double flare at all, just a single flare with a small double edge. Frustrated, I tried it again with the tube protruding further from the die, thinking I just hadn't had it tight enough or the tube wasn't far enough forward. Same result, and this time I'd marked the tube and could see how much it had pushed back out of the die. To make a long story shorter, I put the two die halves into my mill and removed .008'' from each mating face and now it works correctly. I didn't think that should have been needed, but it was, at least for the 3/8'' die set. I haven't used any of the other die sets yet so don't know if this is going to be needed on those as well, we'll see. Anyway, all the dies and the corresponding flare mating tools are in the kit, maybe it needs to be fine tuned a bit, but the price is right, the hydraulic part works really easily and I'm happy, lots of stuff you buy nowadays doesn't even work; all the parts are here, it just needs a little finessing.

Good tool with lots of dies. It's a bit awkward to use and not good for tight places, but it will do a very nice repeatable flare. I'm happy with the purchase.

Loved using it. Didn t miss a single bubble flare on my whole line. The lever system is easy to use and strong enough to bend steel line with no struggle at all. Pipe cutter is ok, Just wish there was a rimmer included in the set to prep the cuts before flaring. The casing is low quality molded plastic. A bit pricey but worth it considering the job done You should hire someone to make the manuals, the instruction translation is not good and can be very confusing. A proper manual would make the whole bundle look better and professionnal

Die housing broke second Time i use it but replacement come fast. Good price,fast shipping and customer service is awesome.

Once I got it figured out to do a bobble flare, the tool worked great. I know it says it does not do steel lines but worked just fine to make a power steering line that was not available for my truck.

It's decent, if your job is to flare hardlines all day then buy a high quality one for 4 times the price, otherwise this unit works great, for how longbis to be determined
