It was let down by a manufacturing defect which rendered it inoperable out-of-the-box. The two arms which pivot, allowing the angle grinder to travel at the correct height and angle along the blade edge to be sharpened, did not pivot freely. They were very stiff, and not moving freely at all. After undoing the pivot bolts, it was obvious those two bolts had been over-torqued during the assembly process. Of the six bearings, two were still OK (rotating freely), but two were grossly deformed, and the last two had shattered and fell apart. Vevor compensated me for the set of six new Japanese bearings I fitted, and the sharpening jig is now operating as it should - very smooth and precise. If it weren't for this little repair job, I would have rated it 5 stars all round! The balancer is also very smooth and precise. All up, a nice machine!

Overall not bad for the price. The arms on the grinder guide were very stiff.

A pretty good product

Excellent Lawn mower blade sharpener. I mount mine in the vise and sharoen away and it takes very little to to do. Makes a very good cut on the grass worth ever penny

This unit is fantastic for the money. I will say that adding a pair of vise grip pliers to the mating surfaces helps a ton with the blade deflecting. It’s not the ABS system but you’re also not paying those prices either.

Just recently received this and used it. Fantastic. Used a flap disc on my NEW grinder to sharpen & balance my ZT blades to manufacturer’s recommended angle. Noticeably smoother ride, likely due to me being pickier about the balance than the local shop. Subtracted 1 star because of the 4 (?) pins/rods supplied for the grinder, none fit my 35 year old Makita, so I bought a new Bosch (to go with all my other Bosch tools)

Not the exact product that I was looking at, but still looks like it will do the same thing. I was expecting the arm part to to be a solid piece instead of square tubes.

The sharpener is easy to use, and gets you pretty close to the angle you want. The setup could be stouter to hold the grinder and the blade tighter. Overall it works. The balancer works ok, doesnt seem as well made as others that I have used, but it works.

This product is working as advertised. I would by another if needed.

I haven't used the sharpener item due to my blades not needing sharpening. I did use the balancer and found that the balancer had a heavy side. It would rotate by itself to the heavy side down. I had to balance the balancer. after that it was usable. The 4 star rating for quality is due to the balancer problem. I would recommend these items. I'm sure not all balancers have this problem.
