I’ve had this lathe for a while now, and it does what I need it do. That being said, I have had to make several pieces to make it work. The compound was machined incorrectly and was off center with one screw missing, and the other was causing the slide to not work. The screw was digging in to the machined surface of the dovetail. Customer assistance replaced that part without any issues. The tail stock did not fit the bed properly and could not be adjusted enough, so I had to modify it to sit flat. Minor issues with the carriage getting it to run smoothly and stay square, but that seems to be common on some other lathes as well. I was disappointed that I didn’t notice, it does not come with a thread indicator on the apron. There are a few other things I could mention, but I don’t want to sound entirely negative about this lathe. I think it is good for the price, but I would probably not buy another one.

Since I have bought the lathe and VEVOR TOOK MY MONEY I have had nothing but. Trouble with the whole process. No money back ,no help to resolve the issue, this started before Christmas they won’t listen to me at all. Please sort it out.

This product was great until it didn’t work any longer. I tried to file a claim under the extended warranty that I had purchased and Vevor would not honor the warranty. Do yourself a favor and never buy from Vevor, especially do not purchase protection plans as they will not honor it!. After two solid weeks of discussion they offered me $68 to have the machine repaired locally without any referrals or anything . If Vevor will honor their warranty that I purchased, will gladly rate this differently. Pis poor customer service.

The lathe stopped working after only a few hours.
The machine powers up and the display lights up but when the potentiometer is turned nothing happens and after a few seconds the display goes off. It then proceeds to turn on and off every three seconds.

lathe quit working after 5 months and after 4 weeks of emails back and forth still now results on a repair. i will never buy a peice of machinery from this company again based on the lack of service i have gotten in fixing this iusse
