So far this has been a great plastic welder and has been incredibly easy to use. The soldering Iron was a bit iffy at first as it feels a little on the cheap side and on initial use started to off-gas factory fumes as it heated up but otherwise didn't cause any issues. The plastic welding gun itself works almost instantly for melting the staples into the plastic. The only thing I'd change with it is to have some sort of safe guard/trigger lock to prevent accidentally activating it if you were to hit the trigger while it's put to the side or while you're putting a new staple into it. The only true issue of the entire kit that I had is the metal snips that come with the kit for trimming off the ends of the staples once melted. It has a large gap between the blades and is incredibly dull, requiring a lot of force to actually cut through the metal and making the metal ends into a mini projectile. Avoid using the snips and use high quality ones.

Wonderful tool stitched the light switch housing back together under the dashof a 25yr old carport kept truck..they still get brittle and crack no matter how well you keep em. Saved me a lot of money no autobody shop wouldve pieced it back together like i did..its strong. It was my disabled husbands truck hes dead now..he never let anyone drive it...me rarely..bein disabled he nevr drove it much at all. Glad i could help myself and not get ripped off or couldnt drive the truck. It gave me a sense of accomploshment. The kit has all kind of accessories and it has a case...ill use it again i know...awesome new tool. I cant find my pictures unfortunately

For the quality-price you get, the product is very good, everything is correct, shipping and equipment, I recommend it for anyone who wants to make small plastic repairs

The kit came with everything l needed to get started plastic welding. Repaired my snow scoop with the iron it was on for a few hours and it worked great. Looks like it does a decent job have to wait till next winter to test it out. Just keep a small wire brush handy to keep the tip clean.

This thing worked awesome. I bought it to fix some plastic trim on an old truck. It did great. So I had a pole saw that I broke the handle off of. It fixed that stronger than new. Repaired a broken dash on a Doge ram next!! Worked great. Love it.

This thing works wonderfully. It takes about 4 seconds after squeezing the trigger for the repair clips to melt into the workpiece. Then a couple seconds for the plastic to harden back up. Can seriously place a repair clips about every 15-20 seconds. And after clipping the stems off and smoothing the plastic out, the repair is stronger than ever. I wish I had gotten this long ago.

This is a profesional tool . Good assemble quality, strong plastic handle , and big kit of pieces . Need just some seconds for the work temperature . I'm happy . I recommend this seller

You figured "cheap" s*** would break, but no, it was pretty good. And it did its job. So there's nothing I can complain about.

Great tool it works great as it aupposed to and works very well nice little heat gun to fix plastic with.
