After fedex lost it for a week it arrived undamaged. It was well packaged in a sturdy crate. It only had a few spots that were patched with bondo before paint so it looked pretty good for what it is. I built a base for it as no stumps were available around here. I havent used it yet as I am looking into the purchase of a propane type forge and some basic tools. I have read many reports online about vevor products and will likely order one of their forges when I decide which one. I would say at this point the anvil is perfect for an entry level hobbiest and above.

Rings like a bell, but can't be beat... well I guess you can beat on it which is when it rings like a bell. Pretty normal for a solid cast anvil and how you know it's steel not iron. Either wrap a chain around it or spend another $1000 for grey iron cast to a steel work surface.

Mr.
I’m pleased with this anvil, solid, good face. It was delivered very quickly. The only issue I have was that there was a bunch of Bondo on the underside and the horn had cast marks on it. I highly recommend this anvil.

Un buon attrezzo ad un prezzo competitivo
Ricevuta in tempi brevi, di buona qualità, superficie un po' troppo facilmente scalfibile, ma complessivamente buona per piccoli lavori DIY

uxo tech
I'm not a blacksmith, I dont know what a pritchard hole is. I'm just a dude who hammers on ordnance at a BRACed munitions depot for money. I found the scavenged railroad tie plate they gave me for this purpose too soft and bouncy. The anvil surface is hard and flat, and the round horn is handy for opening up pinched 37mm's for inspection and clearing. It has been sitting exposed to cold and very damp weather for a few days and doesn't show any rust yet. The blue paint comes off onto everything that conctacts with it. The casting is rough at the holes in the feet and very sharp in places. I was hoping to lag screw the anvil to a log I was given for a pounding station, but the feet holes are unsuitable for this. I'm not sure if that's a normal anvil feature. I chiseled a pair of recesses into my log so it sits secure enough. Shipping was pretty quick. All in all, I say it beats the hell out of using a tie plate.

Great price for a 100 plus# Anvil.
I have been making blades for over four years, and wanted a second anvil. I saw the attractive price and decided to try it out. The description says it's cast steel (never purchase a cast iron anvil. Iron is to soft) and it had a 52 hardness. I built a three legged base with 1/4" 2"x2" tubing for the legs and 1/2" plate steel for the base for the anvil to sit on. I filled the legs with sand, tapped the legs with a hammer to get as much sand to compact. This adds weight that you want to keep it from jumping around when using.
I dropped a 1" steel ball bearing on the anvil after attaching it to the base from 2' above. The "rebound" of the bearing was 14". When striking some HOT out of the forge 1095 carbon steel with a 3# cross pein hammer, the sound of the strikes were dull and low. (that's what you want) The farther toward the rear of the anvil you strike, it doesn't have the same sound or recoil as the center of the anvil. I also question the hardness of the face. I did manage to put a small dent in the face. I will test the hardness later to see what I get.
Overall, it's a great buy at the price! It doesn't come close to my 300#TFS anvil, but it also didn't cost $2,800.00.
I would recommend this VEVOR anvil to anyone getting into blacksmithing/bladesmithing, or just needing something to pound on.

Good little anvil
Haven't had the time to mpunt it yet, but I did get to hammer on it a little and it's good; the package was obviously dropped and the box was torn, and I had to do the requisite flap wheel dance to slightly round the corners and get rid of paint from the horn, but otherwise I'm pleased with the purchase.

Purple Bullet
Excellent value. Not a “perfect “ anvil, but fully functional and all working surfaces flawless. Pritchel hole is too large and in a bad position. I machined an adapter that works pretty well. Rebound is better than my old anvil but not as good as some. However rebound is related to hardness and too hard would make it prone to chipping. I’m happy with it.

An excellent value
I bought this anvil for two reasons. 1) It has an HRc hardness of ~55, instead of only ~50 which is what the blue ones are. 2) Because the picture shows the horn and round hole being flush with the flat surface of the top of the anvil. This second reason turned out not to be the case. There is about a 1/ to 3/8 inch step there. I have since learned that the step is useful for some things but it does mean the round hole is not the same height all the way round, which makes it less useful for using it as a Pritchard hole. I plan to weld some fender washers onto the end of a pipe that will fit in that hole, and then grind one side flat to fit in the hole and solve this problem.
The anvil itself is quite good, and for the price is down right amazing. Edges are sharp, so you can break the corners with a file to set the corner radiuses at the size you want. The anvil rings a bit, but I think with a magnet under the horn and a chain around the base this tones it down nicely. (other anvils also ring and can be quieted the same way)
