PROS The visual is good. It looks better on the screen in person than the picture I’m posting and the digital image on the SD card is great. The sonde emitter and locator are very accurate and comparable to many thousands of dollars of Rigid brand equipment. It is easy to record and if you get a micro SD to lightning port plug, you can download and view directly with your phone. The camera is very light which is a nice advantage I was not expecting CONS The camera is not self leveling. Currently there is no option to upgrade to a self leveling camera (Vevor! I would love to order a self leveling head unit to put on my reel!). The “push cable” is a little thin. It IS sufficiently rigid and flexible enough to be pushed down a drain line. EXPERIENCE I was able to push the camera through 4-5 90s down my sewer line and in the process actually found a clean out port buried a foot under my mulch bed. Probably got the camera out about 80ft but I couldn’t get it any further without fear of breaking the push cable. This can happen even with the name brand units. Over all, very very happy. Would love to acquire a camera head that was self leveling for around $100. Thanks VEVOR!

Works fine. We have 4 or 5 of these. Huge issues with video files becoming corrupted and not playable and there's no way to know until after. Also can't get reasonable support for the problem.

Très bonne caméra. Dommage qu'elle ne soit pas plus fine. Ceux qui hésite, prenez obligatoirement l'option auto nivelant. En gros, prenez au moins ce modèle. M'a permis de comprendre mon réseau d'eau et mon drain.

Camera is good for the current price as the supplementary camera, the locate doesn’t work if the depth exceeds 6’, works great for interior layout

This is a great, very compact camera system. However, I purchased this system specifically for its camera capabilities, and the instructions are not in the manual. The instructions do not clearly explain how to easily take videos or snapshots of what is displayed on the screen. To perform these tasks, you have to navigate through several menus each time, which is not very intuitive. As a suggestion, it would be helpful to have a single button on the video screen to snap a photo, start video recording, and stop the recording. Currently, none of these tasks are easy to perform. It would also be helpful to have a clear and simple way to play back or view recorded photos and videos. I take pride in working closely with my customers, and having an easy way to show them what was recorded would be extremely useful.

Awesome machine nice features

Comparing to my ridgid mini reel it’s not bad. Camera quality is great, functionality is good, price is awesome and push rod doesn’t feel too flimsy but can tell a difference in the quality compared to my ridgid. The only down side I can find is the sonde built into the head. Can locate great above ground but once it’s in the sewer and gets deeper than 3 ft , you’re screwed. If you’re doing a lot of cipp work, coating and patch repairs, then it’s awesome. But if you intend to use it as your main camera for locating blockages or breaks, don’t bother. Even tried attaching a sonde specifically for septic tank locating, but they both cancel each other out. Next step is to see if the Spartan sentinel camera head is a good match and see if that sonde actually works. Would pay extra for vevor to use a better sonde. I’ve only tried my ridgid scout. I don’t see another locator working better but will be renting different locator from another manufacturer to see if it can pick up the sonde.
