For the money, this is an excellent anvil. Especially for the beginner blacksmith. Someone that doesn't have a lot of money...

Product I received wasn't anywhere near as clean looking as the advertisement. Pretty rough with a lot of burned in moulding sand. Didn't actually weigh it but it feels about right. Rebound is about 25-30%. I don't have anything to measure top surface hardness but the edges of the hardie hole was pretty easy to file. Got this one on a black Friday deal so the price was great. I feel it will suffice until I wish to upgrade to a heavier anvil.

The anvil i received, the rebound with a 3/4" 52000 ball bearing was at 70-80%. Much better than I thought. Anvil has seen it share of abuse and still looks and performs great for me. Recommend

Can't be beat for the price, especially since it is shipped. Weight is solid, hardened correctly, true enough. Does exactly what a 100+lb anvil should.

Well made and durable.

over all it is good, my only complaint is the the top has milling lines it is not a smooth finish. Other than that A+
