Great solid anvil with nice machined surface finish where needed, at a fantastic price with fast delivery. Once again, one of the reasons im becoming a dedicated vevor shopper. Heavy enough where it doesnt really need bolting down unless you're out on a boat in the ocean!

Kovadlinu jsem objednal v polovině září, dodávka byla super rychlá a s kvalitou jsem mile překvapen. Povrch je bez vad, hrany bez hrbolů, krásně zpracování. I picked up this anvil simply because of the price. It arrived and I unpacked it. Mounted it to a block and dressed the edges. The anvil looks great, no issues with the casting, work surface is smooth and flawless. I’ll be using in the next few days but I do not see any reason to be disappointed. Great anvil for a low cost!!

The anvil seems to be pretty good for the price although it’s not as hard as I was hoping, but it should do the job.

Pound for pound this is by far the best anvil for the price for any beginner or even the experienced blacksmith. The finish in the grind on the faceplate was perfect and no signs of fill in welds and was perfectly flat. The horn and finished well as well. The base casting was nice and no apparent signs fo fill ins. The Hardy Hole is a little large 1.5 x 1.5 but I can work around that. Shipping was fast and the box arrived in good shape with wood inserts on the ends. I’m glad I paid the little extra and got the 110 lb anvil over the 66 lb anvil the bigger over all size will allow me grow as my technique improves. Very Pleased With Purchase

First anvil ive owned and im fairly impressed so far. for its price you cant go wrong!

Very please over all with this anvil for a starter anvil. The hardy hole is bigger than 1” but with a little work a “made to fit” hardy tool can easily be made. The pritchell hole is only 1/2” but will work. Looking forward to many years of use out of this little 110lb anvil

The overall quality is very acceptable! I am not a profi and have only 5 years experiense as hobbist, so it is difficult to judge. But I am very satisfied. The only drawback is the HUDGE Hardy hole!

The anvil arrived quickly and was packaged well. I think this is a great anvil for a casual user that is not a black smith, which I am not. I am a metal worker and I wanted something for straightening things (repair), surface to hammer things together and occasional forging beside the small area on a vise. The 110 lb anvil has good rebound, the horn does not appear to be as hard but still perfectly adequate for my needs. The only 2 cons I can see is the the non standard size of the hardy hole at 1.25". I purchased 1.25 bar stock to make hardy tools. The second thing is the the hardy hole is under sized a bit and will not fit the bar. The good is it is under sized and not over. Using an Air belt sander with 36 grit and marking dye, I was able to make the hole to snuggly fit 1.25" bar. in a couple of hours. Make bar long enough to be able to tap it out from the bottom of the hole. In the process of making hardy hole tools. Very happy with my purchase.
