I’ve heard people talking about getting an ionizer for your pool and it helps with chlorine usage and keeping your pool clear. I ended up purchasing this one and love it. We live in Western KY so I get hot here and the pool is in direct sun light 85% of the day. Since I opened the pool in May I out the opening chemicals and have used 4 chlorine tablets in the pool floater we have. Water has been crystal clear. I’ve tried posting a picture but it’s not letting me for some reason.

Bought this a few months ago before the season started. I wanted to give it time to see how good of a job it would do. I can say don't waste your money. I still have to use chlorine and I still get algae on the pool floor and walls. If they would have added silver to this thing,it might work better. The silver would kill bacteria in the water. The unit does seem to degrade the copper anode. So it must be working, Its just not the algae cure.

The pool ionizer itself works, but I am giving it a low rating because VEVOR does not appear to provide replacement copper anodes for this product. The copper anode is a consumable part and will eventually need to be replaced for the ionizer to continue working properly. Selling a product that depends on a consumable component without making that replacement part readily available makes the product essentially disposable once the original anode is used up. I would not recommend purchasing this pool ionizer, and I would be very cautious about purchasing similar VEVOR products that require consumable or replacement parts. Before buying, make sure VEVOR actually sells the necessary replacement components—especially the copper anode in this case. A product like this should be supported with replacement consumables for a reasonable period after purchase.

It's already the end of it. Stopped working about 2 weeks ago now. It was fine but didn't last half a season.

I never received my pool ionizer, nor received a refund like I was told. . Very disappointed, especially since I've purchased many Vevor products in the past.

It was working well. Went to clean it with wire brush like instructions say. Now the blue plastic screw is stripped and will not hold the spring and basket in place.

Unit worked great until the first cleaning which according to the instructions should be weekly. Unscrew the bottom to take the filter and spring off and then the screw would not go back in. The screw needs to be longer to hold the filter and spring in place.
