Does the job i needed it for

I just received this tap/die set. The taps are absolute junk with huge burrs on the leading edge of the flutes. If used, these taps would destroy a threaded hole. I didn’t expect real tool quality but expected that the taps would chase a thread. Do not buy these as they are by far the cheapest of the cheap.

Ive bought several tools from vevor over the last 3 years or so almost all of them have done exactly what i bought them for....the tap and die set not so much. First tap i used snapped off 3rd turn trying to cut threads into mild steel and took an hour to get it out. Tryed to use several die and they dont even clean up the threads already there. Completely destroyed a wheel stud trying to clean threads up. Will definately not buy again.

I did residence this tools, but I have not used this jet.

I brought this set to excange the set I brought cheap here in Norway. But this seem Even cheaper. The holders for the bits are sad and flimsy and will probably brake fast...

Good for thread chasing but not good for thread creation / cutting. Nevertheless, good price for what they are

La boîte est solide les outils semblent plutôt solides mais la finition n'est pas formidable. Il reste des bavures d'usinage sur certains tarauds. Mais pour le prix, ça vaut le coup.

Set looks good, but quality control is lacking. All SAE dies I tested could not cut a proper thread and had problems even chasing a thread on the different bolts I tried. All others taps and dies I tried appears to be ok. Blow mold case is off and some taps just fall out and thread gages don’t fit into there spot in the case. , another sign of poor QC. Contacted customer service a week after receiving the set regarding the problems with the dies but have not heard a response. VEVOR needs to improve the their QC and customer response if they want continued business. Will update after I get a response from VEVOR.

The set of tap and dies were advertised as having both right and left hand threads That is why I purchased this set. But there is no identification which ones are left. I have a specific need for left hand thread. When I queried how to tell which were left handed I received a reply advising I study the rotation of threads to determine the left hand taps and dies.

I want to warn those who may want to buy a set of taps and dies from this manufacturer. DO NOT BUY this terrible product. This set came to me with such terrible defects. It can only make it worse and not repair something. Moreover, that same evening I wrote a letter to return this set, I did not use it, and how can I do anything with it? To which they first replied that they could return me 12 dollars!!! and then they generally wrote that everything is fine with the set and decided to close this issue as resolved. Although the site has a free return item for 30 days. The service is very bad, as is the product I received.
