Considering 10" tortilla presses are well over $35, this VEVOR press is a fantastic deal. It's heave and it does the job. The parchment paper that comes with it is an added bonus. I am very pleased with this press. It makes the process of flattening tortilla dough a breeze. Definitely worth the money, IMO.

Heavy, very well built and came with extra parts not that there is anything that would break.Works great I would recommend getting the 12 inch though.

Shipped well and rapidly to my door and just in time for my lesson. I re-seasoned it just for peace of mind and for the experience with a little flaxseed oil @ 450oF and it turned out beautifully, putting it together was a snap. I use 2 pieces of waxed paper to keep the dough from sticking to the press and make sure my iron is hot. 40-40-45 seconds is my rule of thumb for turning tortillas and remember to press firmly around to get that rise. I'm now head tortilla maker in our house, and mighty proud to say it! Thanks Vevor!

Works like it should. Also good to make thin hamburger steaks. Arrived fast. Heavy and good quality.

This was my first order from VEVOR, and it has been a disappointing experience. The tortilla press simply does not perform as advertised. It does not press the dough properly or produce the results this product is sold to achieve. A product should be able to perform its basic intended function. This one did not. I would not purchase this again and cannot recommend it.

The first thing that stands out about this VEVOR tortilla press is its solid build quality. The cast iron body feels heavy, sturdy, and well-made, giving confidence that it can handle regular use for tortillas, rotis, and even patacones. The pressing action is smooth, and the weight helps achieve evenly flattened dough with minimal effort. However, some attention to detail appears to be missing, particularly with the two screws at both ends of the press. While functional, they feel like a cost-cutting choice. A stainless steel or cast iron alternative would have been far more appropriate for a product of this weight and purpose. Unfortunately, the supplied screws started showing signs of rust after just one wash, which is disappointing and affects the overall durability perception. In terms of coating, the press would benefit significantly from a powder-coated finish on the exterior. This would not only give the product a more elegant and premium look but also provide better protection against rust and corrosion over time. Given that this is a kitchen appliance frequently exposed to moisture, this improvement feels essential rather than optional. Additionally, the inside pressing surface could be improved by applying an enamel coating. This would help prevent paint or surface coating from wearing off and potentially mixing with food over long-term use. An enamel finish would also make cleaning easier and enhance food safety. Overall, the VEVOR tortilla press performs well and feels robust, but small design and material choices hold it back from being excellent. With better hardware and improved coating finishes, this could easily become a standout product in its category.

Didnt like too much

Thought it would be better than it is. I've only tried it the once though, but was sure the device would have made the tortillas alot thinner. It just does not seem to squash down thin enough. What I made were the ideal thickness for a pizza base though I had not made bread dough. Will persevere with it though & try different dough mixes.
