Obtained this VFD to operate a 3hp Delta Unisaw with a 3phase 220V motor. The VFD does not provide any "enclosure" for connection of input power or 3-phase output. So I utilized a general purpose enclosure underneath the VFD to connect the conduit and bring the individual conductors to the VFD. That enclosure needs to have ventilation to provide for the fans built into the bottom of the VFD. How the VFD is constructed pretty much requires that the VFD be mounted in a vertical orientation, in order for the fans to effectively cool the heatsink. No mounting position requirements mentioned in the instructions. The terminals for connection to the VFD are a screw with a washer under the head. The best connection is a 6mm / 1/4" wide forked spade, although a solid conductor up to 10 guage can fit. If using a stranded conductor, it would be best to solder-dip the conductor for safe and effective connection. The screws for connection are quite short, only screwing out about 4 turns before totally unscrewing, and theres no "stop" to prevent one from totally removing the connection screw. Then, the design of the case is such that it is very nearly impossible to get a connection screw in once removed. Once those installation challenges are overcome, the VFD works great. Press start, and it takes 10 seconds for the motor to gradually come up to speed. A turn knob allows adjustment of speed. In my application, a shop table saw, it would be nice to have big, tactile buttons to push for start/stop, especially the stop. The front panel of the VFD has a membrane keypad, that one must look at and very carefully touch the needed button with a fingertip to get start or stop. There is the provision built into the VFD to connect larger pushbutton switches and relays, to implement more shop-safe start/stop start. Overall it accomplished what I needed, and once I adjust to the slight inconvenience of needing to be more diliberate and careful in turning on and off, will serve very well.

The product arrived broken in the mail. The housing on the inverter was cracked, the mounts were cracked, It had a broken fan and a bent fin on the cooling system. I emailed the company right away. They were extremely hard to deal with. Customer service kept giving me the runaround. I requested a return , they kept ignoring it. Their solution was to send me a replacement fan so I could repair the inverter myself. Then they continued to haggle me, giving me 3 low offers to keep the damaged product. This company does not stand on their 30 day no hassle free return or the warranty they offer. I ended up having to dispute the charges with my bank, because Vevor would not honor their policy. Buy at your own risk!

I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR NEWS ABOUT THIS PRODUCT FOR ALMOST 20 DAYS. I'VE BEEN PUT ON HOLD SEVERAL TIMES, AND NO ONE SEEMS TO UNDERSTAND MY QUESTION. I BOUGHT THIS ITEM BECAUSE I NEED IT, BUT AFTER ALL THIS WAITING, I CAN SAY THIS COMPANY'S AFTER-SALES SERVICE IS UNRELIABLE. I WILL TAKE THIS INTO CONSIDERATION FOR THE FUTURE.EMBARRASSING!!

Spent literally a week in shop and using all available resources to figure out why unit will not save p50-p55 x1-x6 settings. Saves all settings and changes except those which make it very limited in what can control the vfd externally. We just wanted to add an intermittent switch for both start n stop but that is impossible. So far chat gtp has been the best resource for programming. Shares that vevor have hidden values for saving to eprom chip. . I was unable to find the setting. We are now ordering a Hitachi vfd that is triple price but wil do momentary switches and save settings. We do have another vevor vfd on a conveyor system that works great so not sure why this one is so limited. It will work but note the x terminals will reset when you turn off power. Shop wisely

Hooked up ok. It blew up in 2 weeks. No response from my support request. Ads say call or chat, nowhere on thier site can I find a chat or telephone number. Guess I'll buy another from someone else and never use vevor again

Dommage de ne pas avoir prévu d'entrée pour une mise en. MARCHE/ARRET externe. Là faut appuyer sur les bouton "RUN" ou "STOP" sur la façade du variateur pour mettre en route ou éteindre le moteur. C'est du n'importe quoi, dans la mesure où un variateur est censé être installé dans un coffret afin d'être protégé, des chocs mécanique, projection d'eau et de poussière. Dommage ça aurait put être un super produit.
