UPS played soccer with this but Vevor stepped up and made it right by sending the broken part! As far a functionality, this does the job. Save yourself the headache and get the big one like this so you aren’t waiting forever to get the water out. One tip is it’s set for 105c to heat but if you bump that to 106c it will work almost twice as fast. Can’t complain and it produces great water. When the charcoal filter is new some TDS will get through so you can do one of two things. Dump the water and go again or I like to just dump the finished water back into the machine. After around 3 runs all of the particles will be out of the charcoal filter and you’ll be left with 1-2 TDS. Then after a few more it will be 1 TDS every run. Because it does take a while I bought 4 empty 5 gal jugs at the box store and filled them all up. Now I only have to do a batch here and there. Definitely a must buy and it works great!! Their customer support is top notch as well.

I bough this because I learned the water in Long Island comes from underground and may be contaminated with chemicals that can be carcinogenic. This equipment heats up water and condensed it back like rain water which makes it pure. Now I need to figure how to remineralized back the water & I ordered a large glass jar to store my purified water

Fast, as described. Good quality. The spout of the borosilicate jar greatly improved from the last models making water pouring much easier.

It has tons of uses...battery top off, steam cleaner, and drinking water. If drinking dispose of 1 pint of heads and 1 pint of tails to reduce chlorine flavor from tap water.

I have a ton of dissolved solids in my water so I use this for all the water we drink and cook with. I use it at least twice a day and it hasn't failed me once. I set it and forget it.

First time use top wasn’t on properly and it became a humidifier, though the humidity felt great it was not the intended use and I only got about 1 cup of distilled water. The next time I somehow put the top on differently and correctly and I got 3 litres of water in about two hours, no humidity change. I had filled the pot up to the fill line. Next time use got over 3.5 litres when I let the clock run for the entire 2 hrs and 40 minutes with a full pot. I had heard to not let the pot run dry that way so the pot would be easier to clean but there was always some water in the pot after the full time on the clock ran to the end. Pot had some white calcium that was easily removed with a plastic scrubber. Distilled water tasted great! Used it about 1 time a week, electricity bill not too much of an increase. Found out not to run anything else in my kitchen, even on a different plug, when using the water distiller or my breaker will trip. Only tripped it once.
