The product itself is good and the overall quality is decent. The release wheel isn’t great, but it is functional and gets the job done. ***BUYER BEWARE: If you’re working with 8’ ceilings, I would NOT recommend the 16’ model. It is extremely difficult to use because you cannot load the drywall close to the ground. You have to lift the sheet more than 7’ off the ground while keeping it basically parallel to the floor. There simply isn’t enough clearance to side-load the drywall and then rotate it into position. I really wish I had purchased the 11’ model instead. For standard 8’ ceilings, I think it would be much easier and more practical to use. If you are doing vaulted ceilings would work great.***

When selecting a lift since they were both the same price I figured why not get the 16ft and it is capable of doing more for future possible projects. I just figured that it had another telescopic piece inside that allowed it to go higher. However, that is not the case. in order to reach the trailer height the base itself is 2 feet taller making this lift mostly useless for the project I bought it for with low ceilings. with the low ceiling i can't tip the cradle to load it and we are having to lift the sheetrock little over 6ft in the air to load and then using the lift to just raise it a foot and hold it in place why screwing it down. Totally my fault but mostly a waste of money on this project and most my future projects. Knowing what I know now, i would only consider the 11ft lift.

Just Received the lift. Ordering was easy, price is good and shipping was very fast. Only one problem, when I tried to extend the lift, it would only extend half way and then lock up. after looking it over and assessing the situation, I found the cable was on the wrong side of the pully on the middle extension section. After moving the cable to the other side lift works perfect. I think the rotating lifting handle is now slightly bent from the pressure I put on it trying to get to go up thinking it was just stuck. The rotating handle mount is not bent enough to affect operation.

It's a very nice lift. Two things I would change would be a thicker support bar, and a lip on the end of the hold brackets. This alteration would stop the drywall doesn't slip off when the lift is tilted. However, it's well worth the purchase.

Worked great will be using it on every rock job I get.

Great for the price and works as expected. The only criticism is that the clutch mechanism is not amazing, and if you’re not cautious can start to lower when not expected. Otherwise worked great with 12ft panels of 1/2” drywall, and enabled me to hang a large room solo.

great lift but the rods that hold the legs can pop out of the holes and let the leg close and fell over letting the panel land on my foot. I put zip ties on the rods so they could not come out again. i was able to do a 3 man job by myself

Worked out very well.

This lift is adequate for a home remodel. Lifts both 1/2 inch and 5/8 4x8 sheets with no issues. Could go to 4x12 with extensions all the way out. Not high quality, some parts are more loose than I like. A cotter pin was missing so I had to use a bolt and lock nut which actually work better for the bottom legs. The locking mechanism let go once so far with the load in the air above my head. It stopped itself but wasn’t expecting it to let go. Glad I bought it in spite of the couple of issues I’ve had.

Will reach 16ft good quality for the price, i dont use it every day but comes in handy for when i bid work with sheet rock or paneling on ceilings instead bringing in two guys to install
