Using over shed door

We needed something to keep the back door entrance dry and snow free for the wintertime. Saw an ad for Vevor awnings .... The prices were way below what Lowes or Home Depot wanted for their products, So I thought for under a hundred bucks I would chance it. Shipping was pretty fast and I received the awning box in good condition. After reading the instructions it went together fairly quickly, and my wife was surprised at how fast and easy it went on. Absolutely love it and will be ordering one for the garage.

Excellent value, fit perfectly over my park model window, have recommended larger one to neighbor who was equally pleased with the wider valence option. Will be putting more of these up in the future.

The owning looks great. I believe the two rods should be a little longer so you can get more of an angle to help hold more weight. The instructions were a little confusing but with time and looking at it over and over and over you figure it out. Except. Be careful when you go to put the side pieces on. Be sure to look at the instructions carefully and see that you have the awning louvered correct. Top or bottom. I took it out of the box as it says with it showing it then on top. When I stood it up on the side to put the side rails on. I stood on the wrong side or grabbed the wrong side piece and installed. I didn't notice until I went to put it up and it was flipped over upside down. I had to take it completely apart and swap the side pieces so it would be correct. Pay attention to the two arrow stickers. Make sure when you put a side rails on that the stickers are indicated on top or bottom. Other than that I put it together myself and installed it myself. I do recommend it if you're looking a nice easy aluminum awning. To me it's the classic style that I was looking for.

Good bang for the buck

Zero customer service on a missing part. If you are going to sell products to United States citizens, you might want to plan on providing missing parts. Rent a warehouse or build a storage building in the country that you "serve" and keep ALL of the needed parts for your awnings there. I spent WEEKS on a ridiculous email chain and was finally told that the missing "Part F" required an on-site remedy. I called the ONLY store for VEVOR in the United States. It is located in Texas which is over 1000 miles away from my home. No human answered the phone even after five calls. The voicemail was full and could not accept any messages. The only TINY bright spot in this whole debacle was the fact that VEVOR refunded me for the defective awning package. I will NEVER EVER purchase ANYTHING from VEVOR!

Holding of middle strip (at slope) with nuts put too much pressure and after couple of days, nuts broke and middle strip came out from one end. I need to put more nuts even there are no holes (from manufacturer) to support middle strip. Installation is extremely cumbersome in addition.
