A good little extractor for the price. The installation instructions and operational instructions that come with it are severely lacking. It has a ballbearing in the bottom that needs to be oiled with food grade high heat cooking oil before use. Not mentioned in the book. They say that honey is self-oiling, but this is not totally true. If you don't oil it, you run the chance of overheating the bearing. Also, be careful not to lose the bearing when you clean the machine. It will just roll out when the tank is turned upside down in cleaning. The bottom of the tank is lower than the honey gate, which means you will need to tilt it to get out the remaining honey. Inconvenient, but not a deal breaker for the price point. Other machines do not have this issue, but cost several times more. I used their tech service, and they were very responsive and helpful. Overall, I would recommend this extractor for the small hobby beekeepers who produce a couple of hundred pounds or less of honey. Much easier than hand-cranked.

I had a hand-crank extractor that I paid almost double of this extractor. It is a great unit for the price. The only issue is it wobbles before the weight of honey helps stabilize. Solved that problem by bolting the legs to a square of 3/4" plywood. You can't go wrong for the price.

I haven't had a chance to officially use this but am looking forward to it. I had a hand crank extractor and this will be a nice change to all that extra work. Plus my old extractor is a 3 frame so I am hoping 4 will be a lot better. The price is hard to beat as long as it holds up for a few seasons it will be a great savings on the more expensive ones.

It's taken a while to take the step to buy an electric honey extractor after years of using a manual one. I have to admit that it makes honey extraction a whole lot easier and faster which, in turn, makes the whole process a lot more enjoyable and managable.

Matériel reçu sous deux jours ,des améliorations sur l'emballage ont été apportés protégeant ainsi la cuve pendant le transport. Les portes en plexiglass sont fixées à l'intérieur du panier ce qui était ma crainte à la lecture des commentaires d'avoir le matériel abimé. Pour le prix il n'y a vraiment pas à hésiter qualité prix imbattable! pour un apiculteur amateur s'est parfait . Je vais apporter une seule amélioration l'inversion de rotation du moteur pour me simplifier la vie pour l'extraction afin de ne pas retourner les cadres de hausses.

J'ai été impressionné de voir la bonne qualité de cet extracteur. Super rapport qualité/prix. Possibilité de mettre 8 cadres de hausses. Moteur silencieux et bonne stabilité (nous l'avons fixé sur un madrier)

I bought this through a search on FB marketplace and for the price of used extractors I was able to get a brand new electric one. I was originally concerned with shipping, how long it would take to arrive and the quality but I received the extractor within 2-3 days of ordering, and was packaged very well. It is protected with Styrofoam and key parts are wrapped in plastic to prevent rattling/scratching, etc. It took 5-10 minutes to set up and I'm not even sure if I looked at the instructions because it was very intuitive. I extracted about 10 frames and I was also very impressed with the quality. It was quiet and did not shake/rattle and roll as it extracted. The knob allows you to adjust the speed based on the weight of the frames. I was not paid for this review. I just got a great deal on a high quality item and wanted to share my experience.

Love this honey extractor! We have 4 hives and works well for us. So much easier than turning a crank.

Much better than the hand cranked machine it replaced. Small amount of work needed to assemble, no great skill required.Ideal for beekeepers with just a few hives , I have 5 right now and looking forward to an easy job with it next honey harvest
