The inverter has been connected for 2 weeks now, and as a basic inverter it's working great. The connections between the 15kwh battery, the solar array and my house all work flawlessly. There are, however, some caveats: sending electricity back to the grid results in an 08 error (even in SUF mode) as the inverter operates at ~229V in 230v mode, and the local grid operates at ~233v. I have yet to find a way to increase the voltage of the inverter slightly to compensate for this (not feeling confident to set the machine to 240v as this might harm some components in the house in edge cases). Also, the provided wifi dongle doesn't connect to the app. I have already set up a dedicated 2.4ghz home connection with the correct WPA protocol, but no dice. The local Bluetooth connection for local monitoring does work, though. All in all, I am very happy with the product, especially for the price. Future revisions may want to look at improving functionality for the above-mentioned points.

Das Gerät arbeitet super , leichter vetständlicher Anschluss und alles sehr wertig. Einen Stern muss ich leider abziehen, da die Bedienungsanleitung nur in englisch ist.

Dit is de tweede die ik in een half jaar koop. Simpele installatie en duidelijke app. De vorige werkt perfect en ook deze doet wat hij moet doen. Erg blij mee.

If you are buying this in the states, you will need a 8-10k transformer that can take 220-240 single phase and step it down to 120 single phase to make it work with USA voltage. This unit is not a split phase unit, meaning it does not have 120/120vac per leg coming out. I hooked a transformer as mentioned before and it worked great. I would like to mention that the unit will accept 120vac input, but it is output is reduced to only 50 percent of unit's available power you can see this in the manual. If you use the dc only, no 120v input and solar it will output full power for the people in the states with the transformer. The main problem I see with the unit is no parallel option for two units. My final word on this is... if they made a 240vac/48vdc split phase unit or a 120vac/48vdc with a parallel option with the same price point as this unit, they would get more demand from DIY groups in the states.

I got super excited when I purchased this inverter. I didn't look directly at the specs and did not realize that it was 240 V single phase. The Hertz can be changed from 50 to 60 Hz so you can use it with a auto transformer and create your split is 120. There's nothing written in the manual about changing the frequency requiring a restart of the unit it took a while for me to figure this out. The voltage adjustment from 220 to 240 adjusted without having to restart the unit. I made a comment with Tech Support about this and hopefully they will adjust the instruction manual. The data logger on this unit is handy but I also find that the battery percentage is not accurate. I have a Victron battery shunt and it has pretty accurate readings. The readings are way off and I rely more on the Victron. The other data on this logger is better. I have under 100 V and about 30 amps of solar going to the inverter at this point. Its charging the batteries up well. It's totaling right now at about 1500 Watts. I put about 4500 W worth of heaters on the system using the auto transformer as my split set up. There was no voltage drop and the frequency stayed steady. I live by the 80% rule so I will not be pushing this thing past 80% of its capacity both input-output and the battery. I do not have this connected to the grid so I cannot comment on that performance. I do plan on paralleling so I will be purchasing another unit soon and running some more power to another building. So far so good I will update as time goes on.
