Je ne l'ai pas encore installée - la serrure est lourde et semble de bonne qualité. J'apprécie la mécanique qui est sans pile. Ma porte est prépercée de 2 trous donc je dois trouver ne solution sécuritaire pour bloquer le trou supérieur. Je ne sais pas si elle resistera au gel

Serrure avec de nombreuses possibilités d'adaptation. Le penne etait trop court mais le sav a été réactif.

Très satisfait du produit proposé par Vevor, serrure a code mécanique, le produit est bien fini, semble solide et de qualité, en tout cas il fait son poids, le poignet est ferme et solide, l'installation a été très simple, juste faut pas trop serrer les visses, sinon ça bloque la commande des codes, la programmation des codes est très simple, en cas d'oubli il suffit de regarder a l'arrière pour trouver le code, a voir la durée de vie du produit

I bought 6 of them for our student rental. the quality and durability is still wait to be seen. I can only speak of the installation and my initial impression. build quality is solid. the entire assembly feels very solid, heavy in other words. installation: is fairly easy, but can be improved. this has something to do with the design. [read on] the design improvement ideas: 1. the keys travel a lot more than people commonly expected. I know it is due to the mechanical mechanism. But if you can change it to half the travel depth, it would be a lot more user-friendly. 2. The vertical layout. with most of the doors, the handles are at hip level. That means people have to look down to see the buttons. Making the keypad (or just the keys) slightly angled upward makes it easier to read and operate. 3. no lock to the unlock position. If a person leaves the room for a few minutes, there is no need to lock the door. But this keypad locks every time. 4. It requires a hole on top of the keypad to hold the keypad in place. This means if I don't want to use this keypad anymore, I have a hole to patch and paint. A better way is to have two screws on each side of the stem, like all other locks do. This not only secures the keypad from moving around. It also saves the requirement of using the screw-in a strike plate, thus reusing the current hole without additional work. simple change here can save a lot of installation time. I spent about 10 mins installing each keypad, with half of the time spent on mortising the door for the strike plate. Even after I made a jig for it.

For my garage, this is a good substitute for a standard locking set as I no longer need to fetch a key every time I need access. The cost is reasonable and I will never worry about dead batteries. So far, it is working well for my purpose. However, there are some things to be aware of: 1. The code combinations are limited because you can only use each alphanumeric once, and; 2. The order of the code entry seemingly doesn’t matter. 3.. The instructions for changing the code are accurate but the indicator marks can be difficult to make out under poor lighting (or with old eyes), so make sure you “play” with it outside of the door until you are 100% happy with the way it works before you install it. 4. The bezel width just very barely covers an exiting hole for a standard North American lockset, which can make installation finicky on an existing door. You may even need to infill the old lockset hole with a round plug before drilling new holes for this unit. So, for a new door with no pre-existing hole, this would go much more smoothly than for a retrofit, I suspect. It would be nice if the kit included an infill plug for old doors, and maybe a slightly wider bezel for a bit more coverage of old holes. And if you have your heart set on a specific code, be prepared to make compromises. Finally, if your door has a standard rectangular window with plastic trim, there could be some interference with the bezel. I had to trim the plastic molding slightly along the bottom corner to allow the new mechanical unit to fit properly.

I purchased this lock so we could access a manual garage door without having to run inside. The build quality seems good. The only issue was get it to work for my application. I ran into some placement issues and ended up mounting it in the middle of the door as near the edge, it would hit the weather strip. I used some flat bar steel to extend the slide lock to the track but couldn't use the regular hole as this lock moves 3/4" while the original slide bolt moves just over 2". If there was a lever pivot to increase movement, that would have worked to attach to the original slide lock but I went a different route. I had some aluminum around and manufactured a bracket to run the flat bar through, using the original mounting holes for the slide lock. I also used one of the included receivers and attached it to the tracks with another piece of aluminum, riveted to the tracks. I'm reasonably happy I got it to work but it was not a simple installation by any means.

Wanted a non electric lock for a fence that could be open with a manual code. Turns out this is not easy to find. I found one on the homedepot website and ordered it. When it arrived, it was the Vevor lock. So when ordering a second one, I went straight to Vevor. The mechanics of the buttons and handle are good and the lock seems well made. Coding of the password was easy. Pro - Not expensive, can be outside, seems pretty sturdy, strong enough to keep a dual gate closed. Cons - Instructions are horrible. Main issue is getting one side of the lock (on the inside of the door) to connect to the other side of the lock on the outside. I can't stress enough how difficult this was. The pin that passes through the door needs to be placed into a tiny slot (see pic) and it is a shot in the dark. Even once in the slot it slips in and out. Eventually I had to use painter tapes to tape it in the small slot in order to be able to pass it through the hole in the door, have it stay in place, and be able to have it slip into the other side's slot. Without using the tape it kept slipping out. I highly recommend they upgrade this pin part into a better design. So that pin LOCKs into one side, so the pin stays in one place during installation. After using tape and getting installed I really do like the lock. Will see how well it holds up to weather but currently I think this is a winner!

Installed on garage door and has worked well over the summer. Will see how it handles a Canadian winter. Instructions were a little unclear regarding what length to cut the rod and which direction to install it but I was able to figure it out through trial and error.

Installation délicate, compte-tenu du type de la porte : mais le résultat après diverses adaptations est nickel. La serrure me parait de très bonne qualité.
