I bought this in Sept. 2024. Right away the indoor temp. wasn't accurate as well as the forecast section. A month later we got some rain so I was watching the readout and it remained at 0 on daily. When I switched it to total, it read .58". It continued to rain but it never changed after that, even when we got 2 more inches. So I first tried After-Sale service in the Support Center. They required a video to show the problem. I'm not sure what good it would do to take a video of it raining (which it's not now), and showing the wireless station not changing. So, next I went to Live Chat. I finally got a "live" person who also wanted me to take a video, upload it to a website and contact him. He could not understand why this doesn't make any sense. He finally said he'll email me, which I won't hold my breath, since another review said they never contacted her back. Might need to return the product.

This unit has wifi, but the wifi does not reach more than 20m through open space. I had a Bunnings rain gauge which reached from the garden to inside the house easily and cost less and was 4 years old. This unit cost more, is brand new with new technology and yet is outclassed easily. Basically useless as it needs to be so close to the house, the wind gauge will be effectively under cover. The weather station can not be routed through wifi extenders it must communicate directly with the base unit which is so old tech. Needs to be routable to overcome it's very short 2.4g range. UPDATE: After getting it connected at close range, the station has died. Now showing as -40 degres when it is actually 7 outside, also showing as winds to 50km/h when there is zero wind outside and a gentle mist. This is complete rubbish, and it has died after juust 2 months. Don't waste your money, get one from Bunnings instead at least it will have a warranty. How this gets so many reviews >1 is beyond me

This lasted us maybe 8 months before it started screwing up. Wind speed would randomly show 111mph winds. Outdoor temp randomly shows -40F. The fin on the wind speed direction broke after 1 year. So at about 14 months the unit is garbage.

The wifi does not work!!! Cannot connect

I’ve purchased 3 weather stations, this is the first tft screen model. Without an internal backup battery this is near worthless to me. Frequent power outage with no wifi means data is lost regularly.

I bought this device believing from marketing descriptions that it would have more functiinallity with Google Home, unfortuntely you can not use it as part of any automation or scene. Disappointed to say the least.

My VEVOR 7-in-1 weather station with 7.5 inch display worked well while it lasted. It lasted ... exactly 4 months beyond than its 1-year warranty. VEVOR's customer support gave me a $20 partial refund for my trouble. The display still works. I wish I could buy just a new sensor unit to pair with my display. In fact I could reuse the old solar recharging battery pack with a new sensor unit.
